"A job!" She paused."Why?"

"I get tired of being at home all day. Rome has his own thing going and Amir is starting school soon."

"Girl bye! I wish the hell I would get a damn job. My job is to cook, clean and wash everything. Then hand my man that pen so he can write that check. Only thing my ass be worried about is that hold they gon' put on it for five to seven business days." She said as she picked up a shoe.

"Listen." I laughed. " You ain't shit."

"And ain't never gon' be shìt, just like my daddy."

"Stop!" I laughed uncontrollably. "You got these people looking at me like I'm crazy."

"Sky? Natasha? Wow, how have y'all been?" Peaches smiled at us.

Sky looked her up and down and rolled her eyes.

"We've been good." I replied.

"You look amazing." She looked at me. " And oh my goodness congrats." She reached her hand out to touch Sky's stomach.

"Uh-un." Sky held up her hand.

"Thank you, so do you." I butted in. "What are you doing way out here?"

"My guy just got home and we have a place out here."

"Your guy?" Sky raised an eye brow.

"Yeah. Y'all remember August?" She smiled widely.

Me and Sky both looked at each other in silence.

"Mmm hmm. We remember." Sky said.

"That's my baby. You use to date his friend right? That's so ironic that the both of you are expecting a child at the same time." She said.

"What?" Sky asked.

"You and Cash. An old friend of mines named Skittles told me the news. I was soooo happy for her. Cash is a good guy, he takes really good care of her. I was surprised you two weren't together anymore." She said to Sky.

I looked at Sky and knew she was minutes away from breaking down.

"Well it was nice seeing you Peaches." I quickly grabbed Sky's arm and headed for the door.

"Bye!" She waved.

We walked into the nearest bathroom and I hugged Sky waiting for her to break down, but it didn't happen.

"Are you ok? Talk to me."

"I'm fine."

"You sure?"

"Yeah, I'm good. Let's go home, I'm tired."

"OK." I nodded.

I walked up ta' Cash door and twisted the doorknob. Seeing that it was locked, I went around the back. I walked passed his pool then made my way to the door. Seeing that it was unlocked, I walked in.

"Ay! Where yo' black ass at?" I yelled out.

I walked up his long stair case, and as I got closer to the top, I heard noises.

"Uuuuhnn, Fuck me!"

Smack smack Smack!

"Oh hell nah!" I frowned in disgust.

I instantly made my way back downstairs.
