My fists balled at the bullshit which spewed from his mouth.

"Calm down, Vincent. His words aren't enough to bring us down." Eliza whispered to me and patted my hand. She was the only one among us with a calm attitude and a smile which was confident.

"Recently your son, Mr. Vincent Chae, has gotten married to his wife Ms. Eliza Ahn without your knowledge, is that correct? And it was right after the custody papers were served to him, is that correct?" The lawyer asked.

"Yes," My father said.

"You've never met Ms. Ahn before in your life and it was surprise to you that they were married, was it not?"

"Yes, it was." He made eye contact with me while saying these words and the slight smirk on his face was really disturbing.

"So, what I am hearing is that Mr. Vincent Chae married a Ms. Ahn, who was working as a nanny for his kids, right after he was given the custody paper. And there is no proof proving the integrity of this marriage. There is high possibility that his all just a sham." The lawyer said.

"Objection, Your Honour." Nigel stood up from his seat.

"Objection sustained." Justice Hanson said.

"Mr. Cooper is making unrealistic assumptions and false claims about Mr. Chae's marriage and personal life which isn't a part of the trial. And if the defence wants evidence about the integrity of their marriage there are enough witnesses present here who attended the wedding and we have the marriage certificate too." Nigel said.

"Mr. Davis is right. Mr. Copper please refrain from making any comments about Mr. Chae's personal life," Justice Hanson warned.

"Yes, Your Honour." Mr. Cooper grit.

"Would you like to further question, Mr. Fredrick Chae?" She asked.

"No, Your Honor." He said.

"Please be seated then. Mr. Davis do you wish to cross examine the witness?"

"No, Your Honour." What was Nigel doing? This was the golden chance to make my father fall on his face. I turned to look at Eliza, who was completely unfazed from it.

My father walked back to his seat. Nigel stood and walked to the centre of the court room. "Your Honour, I would like to call a witness forth."

"Go ahead." Justice Hanson said.

"Mr. Jacob Watson, please come forward to the witness stand." The name shocked me to my core. Jacob? What was he doing here testifying?

He was Roger's assistant. I was the one who had gotten him that job.

Jacob walked towards the stand and before going there he stopped infront of us. Eliza fist bumped, "All the best." He smiled at her.

All of us, including Celestine's side was surprised.

"You know Jacob?" I asked.

"Shhh, don't talk." She turned my face to the front.

"Please state your name." The court room deputy said.

"Jacob Watson." He said.

"Would you like to affirm or swear on the holy book?"

"Affirm." Jacob spoke in the mic, "I solemnly and sincerely affirm and declare that the evidence I shall give tothe Court, touching the matters in question, shall be the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth."

"Please be seated."

"Mr. Watson please state your relation the defendant." Nigel said.

"I am the former assistant of Mr. Roger King." Jacob stated.
