I was now sitting in my living room, doing some mindless scrolling on my phone, when the distinct sound of a video call notification startled me. Without wasting a second, I sprinted towards my computer, the anticipation building up inside of me. As the call connected, I was greeted by the effervescent faces of my best friends, Stella and Scarlet. They both looked so elated and brimming with excitement that it sent a jolt of unease through my veins.

"Hey! We have a surprise for you!" Stella exclaimed, her eyes gleaming with mischievous delight. Scarlet nodded eagerly beside her, her smile as wide as ever.

I furrowed my brows, taken aback by their sudden happiness. It was unusual for them to look this ecstatic, especially without any hint or context. "Why do you both look so happy? What's going on?" I asked, cautiously searching their faces for any signs that could potentially reveal their secret.

Stella exchanged a gleeful glance with Scarlet before responding with an impish grin, "Well, my dear friend, that's the surprise! We can't tell you now. But believe me, it's going to be worth the wait! It's in 3 days"

I could feel my skepticism starting to creep up within me. Three days seemed like an agonizingly long time to be left in suspense. I rolled my eyes, unable to hide my skepticism and annoyance. "Really? Three days? Can't you just give me a tiny hint or something? Anything to go by?" I pleaded, hoping they would budge and provide me with a glimpse into their secret scheme.

Scarlet winked playfully, leaning closer towards the camera. "Nope, sorry! We've planned this out meticulously, and it wouldn't be fair to spoil it for you. Trust us, it's going to be amazing!"

I chewed on my lower lip, conflicted between curiosity and mild frustration. Though I trusted my friends, the anticipation was setting my mind ablaze with countless possibilities. What could they have planned that required such secrecy and deliberate excitement? I couldn't help but feel a mix of excitement and trepidation at the impending surprise.

With a deep breath, I finally relented, unable to suppress my curiosity any longer. "Okay, fine! I'll play along. But you both owe me big time for making me wait for three agonizing days!" I declared, a half-amused, half-exasperated smile forming on my lips.

Stella and Scarlet both erupted into laughter, their joy and anticipation filling the air between us. "We promise it'll be worth it!" Stella reassured, her eyes twinkling with anticipation.

As we chatted further, their buoyant energy and infectious enthusiasm managed to lift my spirits. Despite the overwhelming curiosity gnawing at me, I found solace in the simple fact that my friends were trying to make me happy. They had put in so much thought and effort into this surprise, and their excitement was contagious.

As the loud blaring of my alarm pierced through the peaceful silence of the morning, I jolted awake, my heart pounding against my chest. Groggily, I fumbled around to locate the offending noise, my hand slamming on the snooze button with an almost desperate urgency. Finally, the shrill sound ceased, allowing me a moment of respite as I sat on the edge of my bed, my mind slowly adjusting to consciousness.

With a contented sigh, I leaned back against the headboard, memories of the previous day flashing through my mind. The image of (Y/N) appeared, their enchanting smile etched in my memory. Their presence had left an indelible mark on my thoughts, and I couldn't help but yearn for more.

Lost in my own musings, I pondered over how to reconnect with (Y/N) without the aid of a phone number or even a second name. It seemed like an impossible feat, a needle in a haystack. The longing to continue our conversation weighed heavily on me, igniting a sense of curiosity and determination within. Could I find them online, perhaps through social media platforms? It was worth a shot. With resolute determination, I made up my mind to embark on a search for this enigmatic person who had caught my attention.
