Chapter 5: The Plot

Aside from the long flowy black hair, everything from the eye shape, nose, down to the lips...share the same features as him. It was like he is looking at his own photo but was edited and altered to become a manga cover.

"What is this, Kawari? Why does this fictional asshole look like me?!" he exclaimed and was close to throwing the gadget away...if he had Sanzu's patience.

"Apparently, Sir, it's a manga." As frantic as he is, his assistant is the complete contrast of how he looks like, collected and calm. Well, this is how he usually is as well. Just not now.

"A manga? The fuck is that?"

"It's a depicted story through comics and published online and offline here in Japan, Sir. It often has different genres. From the looks of it, this manga is considered Seinen." Rindou only sighed in disbelief.

"I don't fucking care what it is or any of that bullshit. I just want to know why that thing has my face!" he finally raised his voice. But still, the woman remained calm.

"The author must have found you hot and handsome, Sir." Perhaps, this is the assistant's way to relieve her boss of his stress. But it doesn't seem to work.

"I don't care. Find me who did this and bring them to me! This instant." He ordered and was about to leave but...

"Already did, Sir." Apparently, the woman read him and swiped in the gadget to show him a profile of...a familiar woman. A woman he happen to meet last night.

"Wait...I know this girl..." he muttered. 

"This is Miss Sarina Samidori. She uses her pen name, 'Sasa Green'. And she is the writer and illustrator of the manga, Sir." The mauve-haired man pressed his lips in distress.

"Find her. I will make her take this bullcrap down today." Was what he ordered last before they left his condominium in the early morning.

"Insurgent"

Kuro Nebariyoi is a 33-year-old man who resigned in his job as an elite cop to prioritize being with his wife and his 5-year-old son. For he doesn't know about his victims and his crimes. How will he submit to the law when even he is oblivious of what he did?
