jisung winced as he looked down at where the pain was coming from and let out a small, "oh." , remembering exactly what caused it.

feeling pressure on his thigh, he turned over to see messy brunette locks resting on top of his leg.

how long has he been here? he hoped that since minho was in here with him, that he didn't have any injuries.

as minho's fingers moved slightly, jisung noticed how their fingers had been entwined, even in their sleep. he couldn't help but smile, disregarding the discomfort he felt.

with his other hand, he reached over and carefully caressed minho's soft hair.

he hadn't meant to awake him, but minho began to stir, unlocking their hands and soon sat up, still half asleep.

well, that was until he saw an awake jisung laying in front of him. "sung?"

a warm look was placed on jisung's face as he look at the tired, but concerned boy.

"are you okay? are you in a lot of pain? can i get you anythi- "

"i'm okay. all thanks to you." he said softly, his voice sounding slightly horse.

a sigh of relief quickly came out of minho's mouth before a smile replaced his slight frown.

"come here." jisung said, patting the space next to him with his hand.

"no no, i don't want to take up your space you should be resting." minho replied back, but before he could say more, a strong hand pulled him forward onto the bed.

"we can both fit." jisung said with content.

minho looked up at his face and couldn't help but smile from how proud he looked at getting him up here.

jisung felt minho's head lean against his shoulder and a soft sigh escape his lips.

"minho?" he said quietly as his fingers twirled, and played with minho's hair.

"hm?" the younger responded, slowly melting into jisung's embrace.

"thank you for saving me."

minho lifted his head up to look at him again. "i didn't save you, you pulled through on your own."

"but you brought me here, and it must of been scary. not to mention how many people you saved back in the city." the look in jisung's eyes made minho want to get up and twirl around the room.

"it was." his smile faded as he recalled the events from before. "i didn't know what was going to happen to you, ji. when i found you, you were already s-so weak and i didn't know what to do."

jisung's hold on minho tightened ever so slightly to comfort him. "but min, in the end you did the right thing. you saved me. you saved so many other people. you know that?"

minho hesitated for a moment, but shortly after he gave a small nod.

"then you should be proud of yourself. you were a real hero at there. you were my hero."

a light blush appeared across his face and his stomach did a summersault at the words. i'm his hero?

minho was touched by what jisung had said, but he didn't know what to say. a small, but true, "i love you.", was all that came out.

jisung smiled at his love looking up at him.

"can you show me?"

minho's eyes sparkled as he stared into his lovers eyes. i'll show you my love, jisung.

he brought his face close enough so that their noses touched.

a soft smile arose from jisung's lips. his orbs lit up even more looking at the beautiful boy in front of him. he was eager for minho to close the gap in between them.

"promise me you won't get hurt again, okay?" minho said quietly, though loud enough as he was just in front of jisung's face.

"i'll try my absolute hardest for you kraken."

and with that, their lips met, the gentle connection of them being pressed against one another, their eyes now closed as they enjoyed their reunited affection.

minho carefully wrapped his arm around jisung to hold him closer, feeling soft and warm as he held jisung's body close to him.

both their hearts raced with unison, love pouring into their hearts from one another.
