"GIGII we are late for the party!"- my roommate yelled from the bathroom while she was finishing her makeup.
We have been living together for 06 months now, We met at a pre-party stop at Chick-fil-A and have been inseparable since then, She's rich, and her parents brought her a house close to UCLA so she can "feel at home" while studying.
I opened my bedroom door while adjusting my dress and hair that I had just finished curling.
"Okay okay child" - I stand in front of the bathroom door - "What do we think?" - I said giving her a little spin
"Fucking gorgeous, wow wow wow Brazilian babe, what a blessing " - says hyping me up
"It's not everyday that we go to a premiere after party babe"
"You are welcome" - she smiles as she finishes her makeup - "I'm almost done, are you 100% ready?"
"Yeah" - I look in the mirror to check if my makeup is still good and put some of her perfume on
"You always forget about something, so pretend we are leaving right now"
"Fine Mom" I go looking around back to my bedroom and grab my phone, sit down on the couch while scrolling through my TikTok
"I'm ready"
"Okay, you can't turn back now" - she says with the car keys in her hands looking around the apartment and walking out to the car
"I'm ready D, chill" - I rolled my eyes walking behind her and locking the apartment door
"Your turn to pick the playlist tonight" - she gives me her phone open at Spotify while driving off
"Finally" - scroll through Spotify and start tuning the radio up before the music starts - "Are you ready?" I said excited
"I'm scared" - she says as she stops at a red sign
