He was asleep.he looked like he wasn't going to wake up anytime soon

I walked deeper into the room I then saw my car keys on his left bedside table that's where his head was turned.

I walked closer to the table and reached for the keys as a hand grabbed my wrist "where are you going?"he asked in a deeper voice than usual "Somewhere."I responded wriggling my hand trying to get out of his grip "how are your eyes?"he asked with his head in the pillow but his voice was still deeper making me flustered "let go Lucian"I said and he let go of my wrist I grabbed the keys off the table and began to walk away just before I opened the door he again spoke "be late for the meeting and you won't be so flustered anymore.enjoy your race blind girl .don't go blind again" he said coving his head with a pillow.I didn't reply I just left

I headed to the garage and drove out Alzerez valley

I finally arrived at Van Cortladnt where the place was crowded with people as my car was coming through the place went quiet and a path was cleared I parked my car by the starting line and  got out of the car just as I closed my car door the place went crazy with applause

"Inessa Cyzarine"A voice behind me spoke i turned to see an old face "Aries Lopez"I replied with tears filling my eyes

Aries Lopez was one of the closest friends I had.he took care of me when my mum was sick,always making sure I ate,trained and attended all my doctor appointments,he was like a father I never had.one who kept me warm at night.

"Nessa!why are you crying?"he said wiping my tears from my cheeks "I have no fucking idea"I snuffled he didn't say anything he just smiled and pulled me in for a hug,And I hugged him back

I pulled back and we both just stared at each other "You look bigger I mean since when did you grow an ass"he chuckled "I always had one dick face" I responded flicking his forehead "Not this big"I didn't respond just smiled

"Cyzarine"He spoke flicking my forehead back but lighter "Let's make a bet" he continued "If I win I get to spend the entire evening with you" and I continued "If I win you come home and make me food"I smiled "I'd do that for free Inessa"he responded softening his eyes "I know" I said

I turned away from him and got into the car and he did the same after about two minutes the race siren rang the Pole sitter stood at the front of the starting grid and began to speak "Ready!"

"Steady!"

"Fucking Race bitches!"She shouted

The Race Began

We were both at the same point when driving I don't want to go all gear in the middle of the race so I went steady and so did he I started to increase the speed but I'd don't want to go all way we were still at the same place

The bet was five was five laps and we were already four laps in this time it was pass the finish like and you win

It's either go big or go home

I started to go faster at this point if I don't make that upcoming turn I'll probably die at this rate I was going 331mph Aries was at behind me but the turn was coming and if I turn on the breaks now I would go crashing but if I don't make that turn the car will flip.
