I'm Y/n Potter, after my parents died I was adopted by Snape, me and Harry stayed quite close over the years though
I just got off the train Harry is calling me over
"Y/n!" He called "Y/n over here!"
A blonde guy looked over at me as Harry called my name, i found something enchanting about his soft grey eyes as they glistened in the moonlight
Harry came over, grabbed my arm and dragged me to a freckled boy with red hair and a girl with bushy brown hair
"Y/n, this is Ron and Hermione," he said introducing us "Ron, Hermione, this is my sister Y/n"
Hermione put her hand out "Pleased to meet you Y/n" I shook her hand "I'm Hermione Granger"
Ron waved at me "Ron Weasley" he said
I waved back and looked over at the blonde guy
"Who's he?" I asked intently as i drowned in his eyes
"Who?" They all replied
I pointed at him "Him, the blonde one with the lovely grey eyes"
They all looked miserable when they realised who I was talking about
"That's Draco Malfoy," Harry said "Pureblood, Slytherin and seeker for his Quidditch team"
I was intrigued "Anything else?"
Hermione looked at both of the boys "Well, Harry suspects he's a death eater"
Ron scoffs "Probably is, his father's a death eater himself!"
Something told me he wasn't what he seemed
Harry, Ron and Hermione took me to the Great hall where the headmaster, Professor Dumbledore, announced my arrival
"Everyone please welcome, Miss Y/n Potter, to Hogwarts"
Everyone clapped as an animagus woman placed a hat on my head
"Hmm," the hat spoke "I see ambition, plenty of pride, very cunning I see, hmm, better be..."
Harry crossed his fingers and mouthed "Please be Griffindor, please be Griffindor"
I saw another boy by the name of Cedric Diggory whisper "Please be Hufflepuff" to himself
I looked at Draco and saw him whisper "Slytherin"
The hat shouted making me jump "Slytherin!"
Everyone clapped except for Harry, Ron, Cedric and Hermione
I could have sworn I saw a glimpse of Draco smiling
After the feast I was walking through the halls on my way to Slytherin dorm when Draco called after me
"Hey Potter!" He said chasing me "Potter!"
I stopped and turned around "Yes?"
Draco put his hands in his pockets "You're Scarface's sister right?" He asked in a half laugh
"Yep," I sighed "That's me"
