Bendy woke up in the middle of the night and could hear coughing from the other room which made him feel a great sense of dread, he kept tossing and turning trying to go to sleep but all he did was wake up the person in the bed next to him

"Bendy, what's wrong?"the boy said

"I... I just want Mommy to be okay"said Bendy

"Sigh, she's gonna be alright"he said sitting up

"Can I see her?"said Bendy

"I can't, we'll get in trouble for being up"he said

Bendy pouted

"We'll see her tomorrow, I know it's hard but try to sleep okay"he said patting Bendy's head

"Okay....... Will Mommy be okay Lucky?"said Bendy

"Yeah, she'll feel better soon"Lucky lied

Bendy smiled and went to sleep feeling all his anxiety disappear

"Sigh, I really want to tell him the truth but he's only four he can't deal with all that stress of his mom dying.... I sometimes wish Dad wasn't so strict and let him see her" Lucky thought

He eventually dozed off and woke up to Bendy body slamming him

"WAKE UUUUUUUUUP"yelled Bendy happily

Lucky smiled

"You wanna see Mom?"said Lucky

He nodded so they got up and headed to their parents room. They opened the door and saw two demons in bed one was female and looked rather pale as if she threw up all the time and next to her was a demon who was male and was fairly built. Bendy immediately rushed to his Mothers side and hugged her

"MOMMY"yelled Bendy feeling a hand petting his head

"Lucky, c'mere"said his Stepmother

He did and felt her hand touch his face

"You feel okay mom?"said Lucky grabbing her hand

"Yeah don't worry hon"she said

"Yeah your mother's really strong"said their Dad smiling

She smiled back and focused back on the kids

"You want breakfast?"she said trying to get up

"Mom I don't think that's a good idea, I'll make it"said Lucky

"No, no, I don't want to spend the rest of my life in this bed"she said making an effort to get out of bed but managed

Lucky looked at his Dad and saw him nod back approving of this which was all he needed to let his mother walk

"Okay"said Lucky holding her hand supporting her downstairs and into the kitchen

"I know what we should have"she said

"Yeah? What is it?"said Lucky

"I should make my special pancakes"she said

"YAY"yelled Bendy

Lucky's eyes lit up, it had been months ever since they've had the taste of home and their Mother's recipe was as secret as cokes which made it taste better than any store bought pancakes

"Okay, do you need help around the kitchen Mom?"said Lucky

"No, I'll manage and I don't want you peeping at the recipe"she said laughing

"AGH, you got me"said Lucky jokingly and taking Bendy so they can sit at the table

Their Dad came down dancing towards the kitchen which amused the two kids, he then covered their Mother's eyes
