Chapter 5: I'm Sorry

WARING: ATTEMPTED SUICIDE   

Luz POV:

I sigh in relief as I hung my bag over my shoulder. School's finally over and I can go work with my other "mum," can't wait to tell her all of the drama!

I walked out of the classroom with a bright smile on my face. 

I waved to Willow and Gus as I walked up to them. "See you guys tomorrow! Or if you want you guys can visit me at work" I offered. Gus nodded "Yeah I can come, Willow?" he looked at Willow as she shook her head.

"Got important things to do" Willow stated, Gus and I both looked at her. "What? You busy selling meth?" I asked. 

Willow shrugged "Got a big buyer, so yeah I guess so" she chuckled. I widened my eyes "I didn't actually expect you to- never mind" I shook my head.

"Well whether or not you expected I can't go, sorry" Willow fixed her glasses. "No it's fine, you do your job and I'll do mine!" I chucked. 

Willow nodded "I also heard that it's both of the Blight siblings~" she smirked. I raised one of my eyebrows.

"What do you mean?" I asked, Willow shrugged, "Whatever you want it to mean" I furrow my eyebrows at her. 

I looked over at Gus, he shrugged. I sighed "No.. I'm just going to do my job-" 

"You can find out some stuff about Amity, you can then blackmail her with that info" 

I shook my head "No Willow, I'm not like that" I denied. Willow scoffed "Come on! You have to admit, you have thought of exposing her. She bullied you for years!" 

"I have! But I don't have the heart to.." I scratched my neck. Willow gave me a sorrowful face "Dude.. she's bullied you for years! It was so bad that you wanted to fucking!-... suicide.." Willow's voice cracked. "Luckily we were there on time or else.. you wouldn't be here" Gus looked at me.

I sighed "Well if I do that it doesn't make me any different than her, I'll just be a bigger bully than her" I explained. Willow looked at me funny.

"I'm serious! I-.. I don't want to hurt her" I said, Willow stepped forward. "But she hurt you!" Willow shot back. Gus shot a glance at Willow "Willow she doesn't have to if she doesn't want to, she explained it to you twice, drop it." 

Willow sighed "Look, I'm not saying you have to but just think what she had done to you!" I nodded. "Yeah.. Willow I know but I'm not like that" I placed a hand on her shoulder.

"Willow I know that you're just trying to help me but.. I just can't do that to her" Willow nodded. I pulled out my phone to check the time, it was around 4:20 pm. Work  starts at 5.

"I gotta go now, I'll see you later.. if you can" I waved both of them goodbye and went on my way. 

I made it to the Owl Cafe. I entered the place with the scent of freshly brewed coffee in the air. 

"Hey kid!" Eda waved at me, her gold tooth shone in the lighting as she smiled brightly. "How was school?" Eda came up to me and ruffled my hair. "Hey! Stop that!" I pulled away from Eda's grasp "and school was great thank you very much" I smiled.

"Was it because you hanged out with that "nobody" eh?" she snickered, I rolled my eyes "No way, that was the worst part of my day.. hanging out with Amity Blight" I shivered at the thought of her.

"Wait.. Blight? You mean those people who own 'BLIGHT INDUSTRIES'?!" Eda questioned. "I uh.. I think so?" I shrugged as I put on my apron. 

"Wait wait kid.. you slept over at the Blights?" she said, surprised. "Yeah? Not a big deal, it was for a project, it's not like we did anything else" I walked away.
