"Baby let me call you back." I hung up the phone.

I unbuckled my seat belt and hopped out the car, running over to them. Jumping in between them, I gently pushed Sky towards the car, holding her arms. She pushed and pulled trying to get away from me so that she can get back to him.

"Stop!" I screamed at her.

Her chest moved rapidly as she tried to control her breathing.

"Get in the car!" I yelled. She rolled her eyes and got in as I slammed the car door.

I then walked over to Cash, who was holding his eye.

"Yo, watch her man." He said peaking over my shoulder at the car.

"You ain't right. Why would you do that to her? She's pregnant with your child!"

"It ain't like that. I-"

"Cash, she showed me pictures. She saw you."

"Fuck!" He rubbed a hand down his face. "What she say?"

"She's hurt. You know what she's been through." I glanced back at the car.

"I fucked up sis but that bitch don't mean nothin' ta' me."

"From the looks of things she do. You go missing for days and you not taking care of home. You investing all your time into this bitch while you got my sister looking like a damn fool."

"Come on na'. Don't make me feel worse. You know I love her man. It's jus-"

I held up my hand. "Get your shit together Cash. If you don't, she gonna leave your black ass for good. It's only so much a person can take."

"Ima get it right, I promise."

I stared at him a minute before walking towards the car.

"Cash?" I turned around.

"Yeh?"

"Im trusting you to get your shìt together. You're my brother and I love you, but if you hurt my sister again; I'll kill you myself."

Before he could respond I was already in the car, backing out of his driveway.

"You dumb as fuck. You lucky all yo ass got is a black eye." I shook my head at Cash.

"I'm trippin' out, ya' heard me? Ain't been a hour and she already changed up ha' number on me."

"You say she ain't take no clothes or nothing, she ah be back." I stared at one of the pictures that hung on his wall.

"I hope." He sighned.

"Who is lil man?" I pointed at the picture.

"Oh." He cleared his throat." That's my lil homie Amir. Look just like Natasha don't he?"

"That's ha' seed?" I frowned.

"Yeh, that's my lil dude right thea'."

"Damn." I said getting up ta' get a closer look at the picture.

I studied the lil boy and saw that he reminded me a lot of myself. Jealousy and resentment washed over me as I thought of ha' bearing another man's child. Not only that, that could've been our child but our whole relationship was a lie.

"I know you tired of hearing me say this cause it aint my business but you need ta' talk ta' ha' fam. I'an sayin' fa'get about what she did but hea' her out."

I took one last look at tha' picture befo' heading ta' the do'.

"You out?" He asked.

"Yeh. I got some shit ta' take care of. I'a hit you up."
