A bit of angst in this chapter but not much, I'm loving writing this series so much right now, finally more band stuff as the last chapters were more about hanging out than actual band practice.

CODY POV

I can't believe I just kissed Noah! What would everyone say? What would Gwen say?

Everyone is going to hate me! Noah probably hates me, why did he kiss back? I knew he didn't like me so why?

I returned home and just sat on the sofa in tears holding my dog, Lucy. My parents were never home so luckily I didn't need to worry about them walking in.

The next morning I checked my phone to see that I had gotten a message I must have accidentally opened while having a meltdown the night before:

#####: Hi Cody, I'm sorry about today but could we talk? I'm not mad or anything..

Oh god he definitely hated me! He was just saying it to make me feel better! He thought I was some gay freak and hated me, yes he was gay but probably thought I was weird! I wasn't even gay, was I?

I was on my way to school and probably looked a sight! My hair was messed up, my eyes bloodshot and I looked like I had gotten no sleep whatsoever.

I kept thinking about my kiss with Noah, I really really enjoyed it.. I wasn't gay was I? I liked girls.. and Noah? Was there something called "straight + Noah sexual?" I don't think so.

Did I even like girls? I had normally just picked out some random stereotypical pretty girl and obsessed over her, I'd never thought about actually kissing them. I thought about Gwen and the thought of kissing her made me cringe.

Oh my god.. I was gay wasn't I?

Maybe Noah liked me back? I mean he was gay too but that didn't mean he had to like every other gay person on the planet!

I arrived at school, earning some weird looks as I walked past some kids but I didn't care. They were a year younger than me - I could easily crush them even with my scrawny body.

I saw Noah at his locker, distracted, I instantly turned around and walked in the opposite direction, phew! That was close.

If Noah saw me he would definitely either laugh at me me or try talk, I was not ready for that confrontation just yet.

Oh crap! I didn't know what lesson I had first! I fumbled in my pockets until I found a little piece of paper with my classes wrote on it. Fuck.. I was sat next to Noah first period.

Should I skip? No way! I would definitely be caught due to my stupidity and clumsiness as Noah would say. I couldn't stop thinking about the dude!

I walked in, Noah tried greeting me with a smile and fist bump as I sat down. I ignored him and stared at my worksheet blankly, wow way to go Cody! Leave Noah hanging was the best idea you ever came up with!

Noah looked really hurt but who could blame me for ignoring him? It was super awkward! "Hey, Cody?" Noah asked gently placing his hand on my shoulder which made me blush like crazy!

I shook him off even though I almost wanted this moment to last forever, looking up at him I saw his eyes were also bloodshot and he looked like he had a terrible nights sleep!
