A few hours pass, Joe, Andy, and Patrick were all listening to music. Pete and I sat in awkward silence for a while. I slumped in my seat and finally spoke up.

"Why do you hate me so much?" I ask softly.

"I don't hate you." Pete replies grimly.

"Then why are you so mean to me?"

"Skylar, I barely know you. This is what, my second time seeing you?"

"I guess you have a point... But you didn’t have to be so harsh earlier.”

"Listen, I’m sorry about that. I was just really tired and not looking forward to having to pay for another person. But, I don't hate you. I just don't know you."

I shrug and sit up, turning on the radio. My face lit up as soon as I realized 'Bohemian Rhapsody' was playing, and I started singing along loudly. Getting even more excited, I started dancing in my seat. Pete looked over and chuckled at me. I shoved my face next to his and continue singing loudly.

"I'm just a poor boy, nobody loves me!" I smile

Pete chuckles and rebuttals me with "He's just a poor boy, from a poor family."

For the rest of the song, Pete and I sang along loudly and giggled at ourselves and each other. When the song ended, I turned down the radio in time to hear Pete say something about how I'm not that bad after all.

"Wait, you thought I was bad? Like, bad, bad, or Michael Jackson bad? Elaborate." I ask.

"I mean that you're more fun than I thought you were." Pete shrugs.

“Well, I am pretty great.” I smiled to myself.

Pete chuckled and mumbled something.

"We're almost to the hotel. We could only afford 4 rooms, so you're going to have to room with someone." Pete said, changing the subject.

"Oh. I'm so bad at deciding things... I mean, I used to be indecisive, but now I'm really not sure." I say, stroking my hair.

"Ha, clever. Did you come up with that?"

"Nah, I read it in a Youtube comment."

"Nice. So, I'll give you some time to think about it."

"Can't I just draw a name from a hat or something?" I ask, now fiddling with my hands.

Pete paused for a moment. "Do you have a hat?"

"No..."

"Well, then I guess you can't. It's not that hard of a decision."

"You're right."

"Who are you going to room with?"

"I don't know, stop pressuring me!"

Pete laughed at my response. I leaned back in my seat and began to think about who I'll have to room with. There's Patrick, but that's kind of awkward for me, as he's my brother. There's Joe, but I feel like he'd keep me up all night. Andy kind of scares me, he reminds me of one of those people who will beat the fuck out of you if you make fun of his beard. Then, last, but not least, there's Pete. The mysterious man. I did have fun singing with him, though. I'm not sure. I guess I'll bunk with him, but I feel like that's a bad idea for some reason.

"I guess I'll room with you." I say unexpectedly.

"Really? Okay." Pete replied like it was no big deal. "Oh, tell the guys we're here."

     "Will do." I reply.

As soon as Pete pulled into the Hotel's parking lot, I leaned over the seat and tapped Joe's knee. Getting his attention, he took out his ear-buds and backhanded Patrick in the chest. Pete laughed and exited the car.

"Ow! Dude, what the fuck?" Patrick yelled, ripping out his ear-buds.

"We're here." Joe said, smiling big.

Patrick glared at Joe and tapped Andy's shoulder lightly.

"We're here." He said as soon as Andy took off his headphones.

"Cool." Andy said and got out of the van.

I smirked and left myself, not waiting up for Patrick and Joe. I caught up with Andy and Pete, who were already inside of the building. As soon as we were checked in, Pete rushed up the stairs to go pick his room, while Andy and I waited for Patrick and Joe in the hotel’s lobby. After Patrick and Joe walked through the doors, it was obvious that they had been fighting and bickering in the parking lot. I sighed and rolled my eyes, then left to go look for Pete’s room.
