A wave of heat washed over me as soon as I stepped out of the airport doors. I took a deep breath as I smiled. "Glad to be back in Australia." The sound of a car horn brought me back into reality as I looked over to the taxi infront of me. Placing my bag back on my shoulder, I dragged my suitcase over towards a man who looks around 30.
"Thea Abel?" He questioned me as I nodded with a smile. His lips curved as he smiled back at me before taking my bag of my shoulder and opening the door to the backseat. "Get comfy, gorgeous."
The man closed the door behind me and placed my suitcase in the boot before making his way to the drivers seat. As soon as he shut the car door he turned his head to look at me. "So, where's a pretty girl like you going?" He asked with a flirtatious grin.
"Luxury Apple hotel."

I watched the taxi drive away as I wrapped my hand on the handle of my suitcase and turned around. My lips parted slightly in shocked as my gaze travelled up the hotel, I counted around 15 floors. It looks like a modern castle.
After admiring the beauty of the hotel I finally walked inside, queuing up behind an elderly couple waiting to be checked in. I pulled out my phone from my pocket to message my aunt when I felt someone's gaze on me. looking up from phone i made eye contact with the old women infront. "Your a beautiful young women, what's your name?" She asked, looking me up and down before putting her hand out.
"Thank you, my names Thea." I smiled at her as I shook her hand. "Thea Abel."
"Nice to meet you Thea, my names Clara and this stressed out old man is my husband, Archie." She removed her hand from mine and pointed towards an old man standing next to her holding 3 bags. Archie rolled his eyes as he turned his head to face me and smiled. Archie has a mix of brown and grey short hair with brown eyes. He wore a black suit with a white buttoned up shirt and tie. Clara has light blonde curly hair and bangs ending just above her dark green eyes. She wore a lose red dress with matching red heels. They looked wealthy while I was only wearing grey joggers with a tight black crop top.
Before our conversation continued the women at the desk called out their names gaining their attention. "One minute." Clara whispered to me before walking up to the desk.
"Sir, your card had been declined." The women at the desk stated gaining my attention. Clara looked towards her husband with confusion before sighing.
"Arthur, he must of done something to the card." She groaned frustratedly. "Kids, who would want them." Archie looked from Clara to the women at the desk.
"Please ma'am, let us stay the night we'll pay you back tomorrow, our son has kicked us out and we have no where to stay."
"I'm sorry sir, as much as I want to I can't do that." Clara put her hand on her head frustratedly.
"Miss, I'll pay for them." I walked over and handed her my card. All 3 of them looked at me shocked as the women hesitantly took my card out of my hand.
"Payment accepted." The women at the desk smiled at me as she handed back my card.
"Thea, darling. You didn't have to." Clara looked at me guilty.
"It's fine, it's only money I can earn it back." I smiled at the both of them as I turned back to the women at the desk to check in. They both of them stood there still shocked before they thanked me and walked away.
After what felt like hours, I stood looking at my room key and number waiting for the lift to arrive. The doors open as I walked in dragging my heavy suitcase in after me. I pack way to much. All I want to do it lay on my bed in my hotel room and sleep. But first, I have to get there.
Repeatedly tapping the 5th floor button I started to come frustrated.
"How long does it take for a lift to close its doors?" I groaned as I looked up making eye's contact with an unfamiliar man standing between the lift doors.
"Can you let me in without shutting the doors on me every second." He growled with his right eyebrow raised.
My eyes widened as I removed my hand from the lift buttons and smiled awkwardly. "Sorry.." I muttered looking at the floor. He scoffed as he walked towards the lift buttons pressing floor number 15. The penthouse. I'm in a lift with a rich man.
As soon as the doors closed I glanced at him. He has fluffy black hair ending just above his eyebrows, plumped kissable lips and a great side profile. Not only did his face look good, but so did his body. His arms were crossed over his chest as he leaned against the lift wall, he wore a white buttoned up top with the first 3 buttons undone and his sleeves rolled up showing of his tattoos. God definitely took his time with him, but not enough on his personality.
I focused back on his face and that's when I realised he had 2 different coloured eyes, emerald green left eye and his right eyes as blue as the ocean. Just as u thought he couldn't get any better.
"Do you stare at every man like that." He grumbled without even looking at me. Shit, I've been caught red handed.
