Jakes POV

Okay I didn't want to leave her in the hall all alone but I realized I'm getting to close and hurting her is the last thing I want to do, but if I want her to survive then I can't treat her like we could ever possibly become more. I can't risk the chance of losing the girl I love just because I'm being selfish and can't stay away. Chloe may be a tough girl but I still want to protect her from my dark past and possibly future

Zacks POV

Wow, Chloe here in the flesh she looks just as pretty in real life as she does in the pictures. I smile and tilt my head to the side gazing at her taking in every detail her long brown hair with lighter brown streaks in it and her dusk rose lips that are currently parted slightly giving her the look of innocence then her beautiful eyes framed by thick lashes. My eyes travel down her body and although I'm slightly pissed she has a t-shirt only on, but I must say she looks hot and I've missed her. It wasn't her fault exactly that we have had no contact or mine mostly her mom and its been three years since that unforgetful night.

"CHLOOE" I scream making her giggle but jump back at my sudden outburst. I open my arms wide and grab her hugging her close as possible and at the same moment jake, my little brother walks in an anger flares in his eyes before changing it to complete blankness. "Missed you princess"

"Missed you to Zackey Bwear, hey your still as cuddly as before" I chuckle before setting her down as jake starts coughing trying to get attention. "And Oh my god I still have the necklace, looks brand new I only wear it on special occasions, oh hi jake, and gee wow I've missed you so any girlfriend I should know about" I chuckle as she wiggles her eyebrows crazy like

"We'll there might be one soon, Wanna know who" she nods enthusiastically and jake looks at me intensely "you"

"uh I have to go to the bathroom now, see ya later" I sigh and nod dropping my arms and watch her walk away.

"So how does it feel to be rejected" I look at a smirking jake and walk away, you will love me again Chloe if its the last thing I do

Chloe's POV

Wow that was intense, I missed zack he was my rock when I was with Alex. And we kinda grew into more it was kinda crazy when I told him that a guy asked me out,his exact response was "you said no right?" and when I just chuckled and texted him no let's just say he didn't take it well. And from that day we have unoffically became an official couple, but I had to leave for awhile and we never saw each other again. after that I figured life was sending me a sign that said warning do not fall in love so I did everything in my power not to.

Now I'm just a bitter teenage girl,One thing that sets me apart from everyone is I have powers and I intend to use them for good. (A/N lol happy that I finally gave away some of her background? but that's all I'm going to give you for now don't hate me!) I walked into jakes room and put on a pair of shorts, I would say I have to hurry and get home but my mom doesn't care about me at all and dad died from a freak accident or so I was told. "Hey chlo wanna go grab some dinner, it's on me" well I am hungry

"Sure lets go" well its now or never to get those answers
