CHAPTER 37 AN ANCIENT STORY AND A PLAN

MIKEAL'S POV

I know they think that I'm off to kill Niklaus but I have a better plan. I am going to make him suffer the way I did. I have spent nine centuries wanting to send him to hell for what he did to Ester. She deserved to be punished but not that way. No, I spent 73 years in a waking dream in which I watched her die and the fight after over and over, I want him to suffer. So I'm going to help my son and his misfit group. Smashing the wall behind my coffin I pull out the spell and head back to the island.

DAMON'S POV

"You came back." I said looking Mikeal in the face through the open door. "Now is that anyway to treat the person who is going to make sure you all live out your eternity?" he said walking around me into the house. He walked into the living room to where the others were sitting. Every person in the room was on their feet in two seconds flat. "Why are you here Mikeal you shouldn't you be hunting Klaus and killing us all." Elena said angry. "You love will be fine if I kill Niklaus, your human. So is Bonnie and your mini witch Emily. Beside all that I have wanted Niklaus dead for centuries." "Why do you want to kill your son?" Bonnie asked looking back and forth between him and Elijah. "This is an old story but one you should hear. After Ester and I made our children monsters, they were out of control. Killing with an abandon that almost got us all killed. I heard rumors that my wife was unfaithful, I was already aware of that but was I angry that others knew. So I went home to confront her about it, as I walked through the door I heard her speaking witch language. I was surprised to see Niklaus was her target. As soon as she was done speaking Niklaus started yelling and cursing wildly. He slapped her several times then ripped her heart out in front of me. I grew so angry that I lost control, I attacked him and soon lost. I ran off then vowing to bide my time until I could find a way to kill him. I spent the next nearly nine centuries chasing him trying to kill him. It was 1941 when Rebekah and Niklaus found a witch willing to use an old spell to put me into an enchanted sleep. The spell was not used properly used and I was desicated and left there awake 73 years. I spent that whole time planning my revenge." Mikeal sat down on the couch looking around the room at all of us. "Well I hate to be the barer of bad news but if you kill Klaus you will be killing every vampire in his bloodline. That means alot of people all over the world." I said. Mikeal gave me a look I did not understand and said,

"Vampires are not people no matter how hard they try or how much they adapt." I stood there not knowing what to say and it appeared that no one else knew what to say either. "I know that was harsh but the truth it is. I also know that i'm not going to kill my son, I want him to suffer the way I did for all of eternity."

EMILY'S POV

Listening to Mikeal speak about what Klaus did to Ester made me angry and a plan occured to me. "I think I have a plan that may work." I said looking at Mikeal. "What do you think you can do against my son little girl?" Mikeal says. "Klaus knows by now that Elijah has returned to us. So he should call Klaus and tell him that he is willing to turn over Elena who is going to be played by Katherine and all the information he has on Mikeal. Tell him you want to meet somewhere, Bonnie and I will have put spells up to slow down or stop Klaus and anyone with him. When you get there and we have stunned everyone use the spell on

Klaus." I said. "I cannot use the spell, it requires someone with death magic and someone with water magic. That means you and Kamden must use the spell on my son for it to work properly." Mikeal said. Kamden who looks startled says,"How do you know what I am?" Mikeal looks at her with a Damon like smirk and says,"That is a story for another time. Is there anyone here you does not want to take part in the little witch's plan?" Everyone in the room looks at each other but no one disagrees. "Good, I must go and handle some buisness of my own. I will return at dawn to begin the plan." Mikeal says as he gets up and leaves.
