Five and Eight are gonna be the age 14-15 instead of 13.
They are not blood-related. They are simply adopted siblings and referred to each other as brother and sister. They weren't around each other much growing up and never even felt like family so this is not incest.
This story will contain mentions of self harm, eating disorders and strong language. I'll try adding the triggers at the starting of the chapters just in case.

Your power is the ability to touch other living/ dead beings and gain and use whatever power they owned. But when they touch another living/dead being they gain that power, but lose the previous power/ability. By draining the energy of other people or living objects, you can create things. the more energy you have the stronger you or your weapons will be. your power may depend on your feelings or emotions. if you are feeling strong emotions you may not be able to control it. that's why you have to make sure you're calm and focused at all times. You can get stronger by sucking the energy of a person or living being, but you have to make sure you don't drain them or they can die.
You also have the power to receive and transmit information with your mind (telepathy) and the power to move, manipulate or otherwise interact with matter/energy without physical means.
i do not own any of the umbrella academy characters (except y/n I guess) or plot and this is simply an original fanfiction.
