Lost In The Abyss

Chapter 2

I woke up to someone yelling downstairs. I quickly ran down and saw my brother arguing with the pizza man. "You were late! I don't have to pay!" "I wasn't late! Give me the money!" And they bicker on. I sigh and take some money out of my pocket and walk over to the pizza man and give it to him. "Thanks." I say and give him a smile and take the pizza and close the door in his face. When I turned to Andy he was looking at me with a straight face. "I was winning that argument." he says and huffs while crossing his arms in front of his chest. I raise one eyebrow and say,"No you weren't and we both know that." And I walk into the kitchen and place the pizza on the table. I take two plates out of the cabinet and Andy walks into the kitchen. "How many slices do you want?" I ask him. "Five. I'm soooooo hungry." he says while clutching his stomach in a dramatic way. I roll my eyes and place five slices in his plate and slide it to him. He plops down on a chair and starts munching on his food. I take two slices and place it in my own plate and just stand and eat. "Remember to put your plate in the dishwasher when you're done" I remind him while putting mine in. "Yeah sure" he mumbles out with a mouth full of food. "Disgusting" I say and scrunch my nose up. He just laughs and I walk into the living room and plop down into the couch. I flip through some channels and nothing good is on. I got bored and switched the tv off and wandered off into my room. I sit down on my bed and see that I have a message.
'Come to my house maybe?
-Daniel xx'
I smile and reply:
'Sure thing. I'll be there in a few ;)'
Daniel is my best friend. He's been there for me through everything and vice versa. We've known each other for 11 years now and we're both in year 12. We graduate at the end of the year. I fix my hair and make up since it got a little messy when I slept and I check the time. Only 7pm. I grab my phone and stuff it in my pocket and take my skateboard. I walk down and see Andy going through his phone. "Hey bro. I'm going to Daniel's for a bit." I say and he looks up and just nods. I walk out and he calls after me,"Be back at nine!" I get on my skateboard and make my way to Daniel's house. It took me ten minutes to get there. I just walk right in since his parents are crazy about me and this is like my second home. "Hello dear. It's good to see you again." Mrs Grace says with a warm smile when she sees me. I smile and hug her,"Hey Mrs Grace. Good to see you too" "Daniel is in his room" she says and I nod and walk to his room. "Finally! You're here!" Daniel says when he sees me and he gets up off his bed and gives me a bear hug. Even though we are the same age he is pretty tall. My head is on his chest when I hug him. "Hey Dani." I say and smile when I step back. He goes back to his bed and pats the spot next to him. I sit down and he looks serious and says,"I need to talk to you."
