"What is it, Y/n?" Asked Regro as he watched you come running over
"Where is that mash potato?" You asked calmly, Regro let out a chuckle as he ruffled your hair
"He's probably in the forest, training." He said, you nodded and then walked out of the house
You walked through the forest, just looking at the nature around you, it always put you in peace so you often find yourself staying here most of the day. As you were walking through, you heard noise.

You finally saw the person you were looking for and just like always, he was pumping iron in the forest, a small smile sat on your face as you made your way over to him, you stood towering over him, arms folded up over your chest.

"Oh Y/n?" Mash said as he looked up at you, he put his weights down and stared at you

"Why are you upside down?" Mash asked stupidly, you flicked his forehead
"You're lying down, remember..." You sighed, whilst shaking your head, Mash finally gets up and looked back at you

"Oh, you're back to normal now..." Mash said calmly, you sat down besides him and wrapped your arm around his shoulder
"Where was my invite to the training session?" You asked as you gently ruffled his hair, Mash looked at you
"I took that invite as well, sorry..." Mash said, you let out a giggle
"It's alright, training is more important for you, anyway" You smiled at him,

"Why do you and pops always tell me to train?" Mash asked curiously, you looked at him and let out a sigh
"Because you're special. You're special that's why you have to train more...I mean look at your body, Mash...." You smiled as you held his arm and touch his biceps, Mash was staring at you
"You trained hard to get this body, so be proud of it, alright. Doesn't matter what me and Regro-San say, we're just saying it for your own good..." You smiled at him, gently patting his head
"And besides...you can easily knock people down a peg..." You added, Mash nodded

So then, you and Mash headed back to the house, Mash ended up breaking door like always which always made you wonder how silly this mushroom was and how much more silly he is going to get, but it was quite funny. Regro had to go out somewhere, whilst you and Mash were at home.
"Y/n...I want cream puffs" Mash mumbled quietly, you nodded
"I'll go get some for you, just wait here..." You smiled at him, you grabbed your robe and headed out, leaving Mash in his own

You were walking through the busy streets of the town, un aware that Mash was secretly following you, he was watching everything in awe, he saw stop at a particular shop and walked up to you, standing besides you,
"Can I have some cream puffs please" You smiled at the shop owner, they nodded
"Pack in a few more please" Mash spoke up, your eyes widened as you glanced over, the moment you recognised that voice you knew it

"Mash?! I thought I told you stay home!" You scolded him, Mash frowned slightly
"I just wanted to see the town...I'm sorry..." Mash pouted, you quickly paid for the cream puffs and grabbed Mash's hand and walked away
"Mash, we've told you many times that's it's too dangerous for you...why don't you listen you idiot" You sighed as you pulled him along through the streets, whilst Mash was just munching on his cream puffs

"Sowry..." He mumbled with a mouth full of cream puffs, you let out a sigh, shaking your head in defeat

As you both were walking down the street, a gust of wind blew Mash's hood back, you weren't aware of this, but people were starting to look weirdly as you both
💭 "Why are these old geezers looking at us like were some monsters...?"
That's when you stopped and looked back at Mash, and the moment you saw his face your eyes widened.
"Oh shit!" Your voice trailed off as you realised what happened
Since chaos had started to rise, you quickly stormed out of there with Mash before anything more happened.
"This is bad...I will really turn you into a Mash potato..." You let out a groan as you whizzed through the forest with Mash behind you, still so oblivious and eating his cream puff

"HOW MANY TIMES HAVE WE TOLD YOU NOT TO GO INTO TOWN!" Regro yelled at Mash, whilst you were looking at him with a small frown on your face

"I'm really sorry..it won't happen again..." Mash said with a small frown, sort of slumped off, you walked over to Mash and hugged him
"You're an idiot...why did you have to follow me, I was going to bring them wasn't I?" You let out a sigh, Mash looked down at you and wrapped his arms around you

"Uhm...why are we hugging...?" Mash asked stupidly, you smacked his chest annoyingly
"I should call you dumb dumb from now on, you lost your mash potato privileges..." You mumbled as you walked over to the table and sat down on the chair, Mash frowned

"I haven't lost my cream puff privileges have I?" He asked innocently

So a few moments later, you and Mash got sent to the forest to continue the training, whilst Regro stayed home, pretending that nothing happened.

"Hey geezer, where'd you hide that brat of yours" A voice spoke up
