In a world of palaces and politics, a sheltered young prince has known only the confines of his home, tutored in solitude, untouched by the challenges of ordinary life. But when his parents open their grand palace as a host for young royal...
—There is a very thin line between love and obsession. Love without guidance will only end up into an obsession and never-ending lies and pain. —
'I, Li'er, cursed myself to live alone and lonely till the day I die.'
It seemed like a curse known to humans that the one who stays is the one who suffers the most. Was it intentional, Li'er did not know as for him he could never think that such days would come.
'I kill my parents. I shall pay for my sins.'
Li'er bowed and with courtesy he buried his head to the ground. His uncle sat on the throne with a mixed emotion. Everyone including the commoner who was watching from afar were all silent. Li'er silently bowed, not even once he flinched, he humbled himself to the core. There was nothing left inside him. His dignity as the prince, he didn't dare to keep it. Tears slowly trickled down his cheek.
'I kill my parents' was the only thing running through his mind.
For a moment he thought to himself. Where did it go wrong? The sign he failed to see. Who's to blame? It was probably due to one reason.
Sometimes a relationship was never meant to happen in the first place.
Sometimes there are people who should never cross each other's path.
It was at the wrong time and the wrong place.
The saddest endings usually begin with a warm scene. It blurred out the line for the character to see and caught them out off guard when it suddenly happened. When the world crumbled.
Li'er was feeding koi carp, those bright orange fish that squirmed at the sight of food, he could never wish for any other ways to start the day.
'Young Prince, your parents are ready for breakfast.' one of the maids bowed and uttered those words trying to notify Li'er.
'Okay.' Li'er then ran towards the dining room. Some of the maid and bodyguards were trying to stop him from running yet to no avail. It was funny for him to see them squeal in shock whenever he did something they 'thought' would danger himself.
'Li'er, no running!' his father who watches his son misbehavior instantly asks him to stop.
He felt pitied over the maid and bodyguards that had to take care of Li'er. Li'er was not an easy child to take care of. He plays around with the maids and guards putting their lives at stakes yet everyone still treasured him. Being the only child and coming from the nation royalties. Everyone likes them. The royalties worked to serve the nation. It was to the point that nobody was poor during his leadership.
'Li'er, let's eat.' His father then took Li'er by arm. He had just finished his morning meeting with the ministers. Li'er then grabbed his father's hands with head hanging low, and the maids finally let out a relieved sigh.
The routine was the same till Li'er reached the peak of his age. He was in his twenties. Young, good looking and admirable. A perfect child, a child that every family wished for. Li'er no longer played around too much, he was trained as the next successor as there was going to be nobody other than him that was going to be on the throne. Even his uncle who worked as the medical advisor in the castle wished to have nothing to do with the throne. Only wished to continue learning and made use of what he learned from the eastern country.
'Li'er are you ready?'
'Yes, mother.'
