falling is pretty easy

Chapter 1, new kid

Today was supposed to be a normal day. But here I am in second period staring at the new transfer student.

What was her name? Amber? Amy? I can't really recall but she looks kinda pretty. Maybe I'll talk to Morgan about it, see if he has any advice.

But I should be studying right now. I sigh as a piece of paper lands on my desk. "What is this?" I mumbled to myself, I opened it up and it was just another note making fun of me. I really hate school sometimes.

Lunch is probably my favorite part of the Day, I get to be lazy and not worry about grades for 30 minutes which is nice.

I also get to talk to my one and only friend, Morgan who is an... Interesting character to say the least. He got lost once and I showed him to class and a friendship started.

He may be a bit of a dummy sometimes but he stopped me from doing bad things to myself so I really appreciate him.

But that's not what I'm focused on at the moment. The transfer student looks like she wants to kill me! I mean, I know I'm an easy target but this is ridiculous!

"Hey man you good?" Morgan Waved a hand in my face
"Huh? Oh, yeah I'm fine. What's up?" "I can see you staring at the hot transfer student"

"......no you can't"

"I already told you that I'm not gonna!" Brads fist connects with my jaw and I'm sent sprawling to the ground "BACK THE FUCK OFF BRAD" Mason came running down the hall, and Brad ran, probably because he didn't have his usual cronies. God he's such a jerk. I could feel tears sting my eyes as I sniffle. I'm such a damn cry baby. Mason helps me up and I start walking out, not wanting him to see me like this

"Hey wait up man! You alright? That looks like it hurts"
"I'm fine, let's just- let's go okay?" Mason gave me a hurt look, "alright, we can go"

we started walking to the last class of the day and I seen Kadence, one of my few friends, Walking towards us. "Sup guys!" She was so cheerful "holy shit Ray what happened?"

"I'm fine, really, I just tripped-" "Brad hit him" well so much for lying "he is such a dick head! well, at least you're not too hurt Ray Ray. Anyways I need to get to class, see you guys later?" "Of course!" Mason responded for me which, I'm not complaining, the less talking I do, the less likely I embarrass myself.

The new girl wouldn't stop staring at me and giving me these killer eyes. It was kinda nerve racking, I just want the bell to ring so that I can go home to my brother. He became my guardian after Dad had to work on an oil rig full time. At least he's home on holidays and some weekends, I just wish he comes home soon because Thanksgiving break could not come soon enough.

Sorry for getting side tracked, I do that sometimes. Now, where was I? Oh yeah, the new girl was starting at me. I also figured out her name was amber and I could see why. Her hair was a beautiful amber color, her eyes a gold brown. I didn't get a look much else because my head is in my book.

It's really interesting and I wanna know what happens. Sadly, fate wasn't on my side today as the bell rung and everyone started packing up. I followed everyone's lead as I got ready, heading for the door. But I bummed into something, or someone.

Looking up I realized it was Amber, she huffed and gave a smile, but it seemed... Off... Nevertheless I apologized and ran off, that was terrifying
