Hi cat clan! I've decided to post something which I finished writing a while back, so forgive me if its really bad. Hope you enjoy it!

I stared out of the window and huffed. I didn't even want to go to Paldea. I wanted to stay in Kalos. Or maybe moving away was a good thing. On the one hand, new friends and teachers and whatnot. On the other hand, what I actually wanted. Maybe the kids wouldn't be so bad. At this point, I couldn't be bothered bothering anymore. The rest of my life was going to be decided for me, until I became an adult.

I studied the clouds as they floated by, taking all sorts of different shapes. They all changed when the wind battered them. The wind had battered me, and now I was a stone forever. I wouldn't change. I'd stay the way I was. I wasn't going to change. I got fed up at looking at floating vapour quickly, and I whipped open a pamphlet about Uva Academy, accidentally scratching my uncle's arm.

He grunted and moved his arm away from me, but still continued to sleep. He was weird. I knew that he was only trying to be nice to me, but no matter how many hugs or any amount of money he gave me, I still felt empty. Nothing could fill the hole in my heart. And the scars physically and internally.

I pulled down the sleeve of my jumper, even though it couldn't stretch any lower, and began to read. Uva Academy is a prestigious academy situated in Mesagoza, the heart of the region. The academy makes it to 6th place in a national ranking of all schools across the globe, thanks to its high education.

The school is famous for its Treasure Hunt, where their students go to explore the region and its several wonders. On this journey, they are allowed to catch Pokémon, take on the various gyms and more, in search of what indoor learning wouldn't give them - their treasure.

I shoved the pamphlet back into the pocket in the side of my seat and resumed window watching. I could make out a small purple emblem in the distance, attached to a building that still looked huge from my distance. Uva Academy. I stared at it to try to figure out what the emblem was.

By the time that I figured out what it was, the plane had landed.

"You have arrived at your destination - Mesagoza. Please disembark the plane as swiftly as possible. You have ten minutes to collect your luggage and leave the plane."

I nudged my uncle awake. "We're here." The man rubbed the place where I nudged him and opened his eyes. He rubbed them and smiled at me.

"Ah, we're here! Paldea." He said, taking mine and his luggage out of the overhead trunk. "I hear that they've got great pastries in Cortondo, and some great rapping up on the mountain tops in Montenevera. You're going to love it here. It's different from Kalos, but in a good way." He handed me my luggage and patted me on the back. "Come on, let's go."

We walked out of the aeroplane and onto the airport. "I believe we should be staying at Cabo Poco, a quiet place with some rich family living there. Shouldn't be too bad."

"Rich family." I muttered to myself.  I didn't look at Uncle when he spoke to me, rather at everything I was seeing.

"The Santagars. The father owns the Rotom Phone company."

I nodded. "Nice beach."

"It is a nice one. I've heard of some in Levincia. Oh and, I know it will be hard for you at the new school, but do try to make some friends and not be so quiet and miserable."

"I'll try."

We walked the rest in silence, enjoying the views as we walked toward our new home. I spotted a  sign pointing toward a little neighbourhood. I read the sign. "Cabo Poco. This is it."

"And that is our house," he said, pointing to a cosy looking house, that lo. He opened the door and beckoned for me to come inside. I took a deep breath and stepped inside. It honestly didn't look too bad. Nice table, nice chairs, nice rooms, nice bed. It was bearable enough for me to live in. Until I lived in the dorms of Uva Academy.

"Tomorrow, we should have the director of the academy come in to register you for the school. In the mean time, you can relax. I'm going to see if I can get the TV working."

I hauled my luggage into my room and collapsed on the bed.
