Country Girl (John Luke Robertson)

Part 2

I woke up around 9 and got ready for the day. I quickly showered and brushed my teeth and hair before getting dressed. I put on my black freedom shirt with my light blue shorts. I put my hair in a low bun then my hat. I put on my hey duded and put vipers on my hat. I sprayed perfume and grabbed my phone going downstairs. Bailey was on her phone sitting on the counter

"Girls willie, jase and jep are gonna show me to the store so i can get food"

"Ok have fun"

"Oh also their sons are comin over" 

"I know" 

He sighed as there was a knock on the door. I opened the door to see the Robertson's.

"Dad their here!"

"Ok be good girls. No riding till the unpacking is done"

We both groaned but agreed

"Fine" 

John Luke, cole, and another boy and girl came into the house. 

"Guys this is bailey and Dakota, miss kays and phils new neighbors."

"Hello" the girl said

"This is my sister Sadie and coles brother Reed" john luke said

"Hey" Bailey said smiling

"So what all needs to be done?" Cole asked

"Umm unpack everything and bring the couches, tvs, and table inside." I said

"ok shouldn't be to bad" Reed said

Sadie and Reed worked on the kitchen while me, John Luke, Bailey and Cole worked on the rooms. I hung the pictures of me and my brothers catching John Lukes attention. 

"Who are they?"

"My brothers" my voice hitched 

"Where are they?"

"With my mom. My parents got a divorced because my mom was cheating. i've always liked my dad more so i went with him and bailey went with me. My mom forced my brothers to go with her. "

"im sorry"

"its not like you can do anything" i muttered quietly shaking my head

we finished setting up my room and then did my dads. After that everyone worked in the living room. I fell down onto the couch exhausted. After a few minutes of rest we offload the atvs which is a good amount. My side by side, 2 four wheelers and a dirt bike. Baileys 4 wheeler and dirt bike. My dads side by side, 3 four wheelers and the mule. We put it in the garage and on the side of the house. By the time we done my dad was back. They unloaded everything and put it away. As they did so i went inside. 

"Dad we finished can we go riding?"

"Sure but wait for me and the guys"

"Ok." 

I skipped outside causing bailey and me to bust out laughing. The others gave us a werid look. 

"Let me guess he said yes" 

"Yup but we have to wait for him and the three stoogies"

Everyone busted out laughing. I got on my 4 wheeler and moved it from the garage. John luke got on my other one. Bailey rode her dirt bike, sadie on baileys 4 wheeler. Reed and cole drove the side by side. By now the adults had came out. My dad and willie in the other side by side and jase and jep on 4 wheelers. Us kids drove ahead of everyone goofing around kinda. 

"I bet Dakota can beat you in a race!" Bailey yelled over the engines

"Nah John luke the best!" Cole yelled back

"Well why don't we see for ourselves!" Sadie said signalling to the dirt straightaway.

"Im down!" I yelled

"Same" JL yelled

I pulled up to the starting point. And JL next to me. 

"Ok are yall ready!" Sadie yelled from the ditch

I reved the engine signalling im ready and JL did the same

"Get ready! 3, 2, 1 go!" She shouted

I took off and John Luke right behind me. I shifted the gear going faster. I crossed the finish line with john luke right behind me. I slowed down coming to a stop trying not to flip. But drifitng heavily. 

"See i told you " bailey shouted smirking at cole

He rolled his eyes as the adults showed up

"Alright lets head back Miss.Kay made dinner"willie said

We all headed back home and put everything up before going to miss.kays and phils. 

"Hi yall how was unpacking" miss. Kay said 

"Tiring" i said sitting next to john luke on the couch

I had my legs rested on his lap and his arm was around me. 

"Dinners ready yall!l phil said

We all went and sat down. Phil said grace and we dug in. Man im in heaven. After dinner we cleaned up. 

"Girls we gotta head home"

"Fine" i groan

I said  goodbye to everyone and John luke gave me a long hug

"Text me later?" He whispered

"Yah" 

We walked back home and got ready for bed. I put on my camo pants and a blacl sports  bra. I tossed  my hair in a bun. As i brushed my teeth my phone went off. I grabbed it and looked at it.

JohnLuke:

Hey pretty girl, did you get home safe

Dakota:

Yes i did pretty boy, thank you for checking in on me. 

JohnLuke:

No problem. Just wanted to make sure my princess got home safe

Dakota:

Awww your to sweet

JohnLuke:

Its what i do. But sleep well I'll see you at school tmmr

Dakota: 

Ok, you to. Bye bubs

JohnLuke: 

Bye princess

I smiled turning off my. I climbed into bed and went to sleep
