I stared at Zayden for a while before I've finally decided to tell him the truth. I'm getting tired of having to hide Levi from everyone. My son didn't deserve to be a secret.

"Anak ko." I told him straighforwardly. His jaw clenched.

"How old is he?"

I bit my lower lip and hesitated. "Two years old."

He stilled and glanced at the photo again. "Is he my son, Celestine?" he asked, his voice hard and serious. "If he's two years old, he has to be my son, right?

I had to fist my hands to stop myself from crying. I didn't know what to tell him. I was shaking in fear because I felt like if I told him the truth, he will hate me all over again.

But I knew better than to care about what he would think about me. At this point, he already thinks the worse of me. I shouldn't care less anymore.

"Answer me!" his voice roared and it made me jump a bit. "Is he my son?!"

This was the question I was always afraid of answering. I spent years questioning myself about it too.

"I... I d-don't know." my tears fell as my voice broke. My gaze met his bloodshot eyes and I saw anger and pain mirroring in it.

"You don't know? What the fuck do you mean?!" he yelled at me.

"I don't know who his father is." I cried, telling him the truth.

"What?" he snapped. Napalunok ako at umiling.

"He's not... h-he's not your son."

He laughed humorlessly and clenched his jaw. Lumapit siya sa'kin at hinawakan ang mga balikat ko.

"I gave you everything, Celestine! I loved you so fucking much, you know that! And this is what I get in return?!" his voice thundered.

I was lost for words, all I could do was shake my head as I cried.

"How were you even able to consider cheating on me?!" galit niyang tanong.

Nanghihina akong umiling, gustong magpaliwanag pero hindi ko magawa. Parang wala akong boses para magpaliwanag.

"How many were we, huh? Ilan kaming pinagsabay-sabay mo para sabihing hindi mo alam kung sino sa'min ang nakabuntis sa'yo?"

I nodded and cried more. Bigla ay naubusan ako ng lakas para depensahan ang sarili ko at tinanggap nalang ang galit niya sa'kin. This is exactly how I thought he would react.

"Tangina, minahal kita! Lahat ng kaya ko, binigay ko sa'yo! Pinakasalan kita dahil mahal kita! We were happy, Celestine! Paano mo 'ko nagawang lokohin nang ganito? Just... how were you even able to consider cheating on me?" his voice trembled as his tears suddenly fell.

"I d-didn't..." before I could even explain, he cut me off with a loud yell.

"Stop denying it, Celestine! I'm so sick and tired of seeing you acting so hurt about what happened between us when in fact, it was your fucking fault! Our relationship ended the moment you decided to sleep with another man!"

"Fuck you, Zayden!" hindi ko na napigilang sumigaw habang patuloy pa'rin ako sa pag-iyak. Tinulak ko siya palayo sa'kin at sinamaan ng tingin. "Do you hate me enough for you not to listen?! Tangina, makinig ka naman sa'kin... please." nanghihina kong sabi at nagpunas ng luha.
