So I was on my way to work I just hope it as busy I'm glad I worked in the pediatrics division because the adults be doing to much but I walked in and clocked in and headed to the front desk to grab my files

"Hey pretty lady"Deon said

"Hey mister man"I said

Me and Deon worked the same shifts so he was like my work bestie we talked about his lil man's and the hoes we worked with

"Girl on lunch break I gotta tell you about what Scott did to me girl"he said sticking his tongue out

"You still messing with that white boy"I asked grabbing my files on my new patient

"Ion know gurl it's just something about him make me wanna woo"he said making me laugh

I headed to my patients room to check their vitals and all that good stuff I was on my way to my new patient when I walked in I seen this beautiful little girl she was beautiful and I seen two woman one older maybe the Grandma and a younger one had to be mom

"Hi I'm Nurse Bradley I will be kaliah nurse so if you have any questions please let me know I'm just going to ask a few questions and check he vitals"I said smiling logging in to the computer

"Um mom here it say that she fell downstairs while playing"I said

"Yeah that's what happen"she said

"Well the doctor ordered her some X-rays so we can go ahead and head over there"I said

As we made it to the x-ray room as me and the tech was looking at the x-rays there's no way that girl fell down some stairs she had sign of abuse which made us contact cps immediately it so painful to look at

I headed them back to the room and that's when I seen Dave and some of guys I just walked in and logged in to get ready to show the x-rays

"Daddy you came"kaliah said hugging Dave

"Yeah daddy came how you feeling"he asked her

They conversation went on for a minute then the doctor called me out told me to go ahead and show the x-rays

"Do you want everyone in the room while I show the x-rays"I asked really not wanting to show them

"Yes ma'am go head"the older lady said

"Um she was talking to me Ashley not you I'm her mama after all"Ashley said

"Man watch how you talk to my mama"Dave said irritated

"Go head Nurse Bradley"Dave mama said

"Okay so um this is her left side of her body completely fine but the right"I said taking a long pause

"Is bad let me know something"Dave said standing up get aggressive nigga was scaring the fuck outta me

"It's definitely no way possible that her falling down a few stairs could cause this amount of damage if you look here she has some sign of physical abuse which makes my boss want to contact child protective services"I said looking around the room

"Man Ashley what the fuck she talking about physical abuse"Dave started yelling in shorty face

"It has to be mistake"Ashley said crying

"Nurse Bradley could you please tell us what kind of physical abuse you think it could be"Rosemary Dave mama asked

"Kaliah could you stand up on the bed please"I asked I helped her up "so as I was saying on the right side of her body you can see scars and these dark spots like she heeled from past abuse" I said as I showed them

After a while the cps worker showed up and and asked them questions I headed to lunch with Deon he was telling me about his lil white boy

"I'm telling you he had my legs back going deep I never knew a yt man can carry around that much dick"Deon said trying to demonstrate

"Omg Deon we in public sir"I said laughing

"Girl ion give a fuck shit I might have to call him tonight anyways I heard about what happened with the lil girl was it that bad"he said sipping his water

"It was you could see where the abuse was on x-rays and she only 5 years old" I said taking a bite out of my taco

"Some people don't deserve kids"he said making me agree

After lunch we walked back to the hospital and started doing I rounds for medicine it was time for me to go to kaliah room and I felt bad I walked in seeing fats in the bed with her playing on the table Dave sitting staring out the window

"I just here give her some medicine one is a pain medicine that will go through the IV and the other is antibiotics syrup taking my mouth"I said they nodded their head

"Nurse Bradley I don't wanna take it's nasty"she said crying

"But it'll make you stronger and help you feel better"I said looking at her

"You promise"she said

"I promise and if you do a good job you can have some ice cream" I said making her smile

"Ou can I have a blue frozen pop"she said I nodded my head

"Deon can you bring me blue popcicle to room 321"I said into the radio

"So about time we get done yo pop should be here"I said

"Okay"she said opening her mouth

"Here you go pretty lady"Deon said handing to me

"Thanks she look wasn't that bad and here's yo pop well kaliah I gotta go I see you tomorrow you be big girl okay"I said hugging her

"Okay nurse Bradleys"she said smiling
