This made Bakugou twitch in annoyance. "Shut up, extra!" he snapped and walked towards him. "Don't fucking touch things that aren't yours!" he said, immediately grabbing the manga away from his hand.
Because of the rude behavior, something in the boy's expression changed.
"How rude. Which class are you from?" the blonde smiled unkindly.
"Like the hell I would tell you!" Bakugou snarled. He turned around and headed towards the door.
The other boy observed him critically. As his gaze landed on the sign that says 1-A, he frowned.
"Well, aren't you arrogant?" the mysterious student scorned. He then walked close to him. "Here I was curious about what kind of students are in Class 1-A..., but you guys are sure pathetic. You think you're all high and mighty? I bet people in Class 1-B are better than you losers." he scoffed at Bakugou. "I don't know why you we able to pass the entrance exam. You can't even save yourself from that weak villain."
"Hah? What did you just say, you fuckin' extra!? You better shut up or I'll shut it for you!" Bakugou let go of the door and walked towards him. Their heads are now touching each other.
"What? Did that hurt your ego? Sludge kid?" the blonde taunted, looking at him with disdain. "If you don't want to listen, then why don't you just cover your ears!"
That was the last straw for Bakugou. He tried attacking him out of anger, but he was immediately blocked by a hand in front of him. That hand released an explotion right at his face, causing him to stumble backwards.
'What...? Explosions?! How did he—'
"I copied your quirk." the boy grinned. "It's a great quirk. But mine's far better."
"Fuck you—" Before Bakugou could even say something to retort, a realization suddenly dawned on him, causing him to stop from his sentence. 'Wait... Earlier, what did he just say?' he thought. His gaze landed on the manga that he was holding.
The Copycat noticed the boy's pause and smirked. "What? Cat got your tongue—"
"Oi. Earlier, what did you just say?" Bakugou looked at him, eyes wide. Clearly shocked at the discovery.
This made the other boy confused. "Huh?" At first, he arched a brow. Then later on he let out a mocking expression. "What? Are you deaf? I said my quirk is much better—"
"Not that, you bastard." Bakugou clicked his tongue. He raised up the manga, waving it right in front of the boy's face. "This, what did you just call this thing?"
The boy was about to say another insult, but he saw the serious look on Bakugou's face. It's as if Bakugou was asking an important question.
"Do you think I'm blind? That's obviously a manga." he pointed out. Then he let out a scornful laugh. "Hey, you seem out of it. Are you sure you're not taking any drugs?" he joked.
"Of course not! I don't take fucking drugs!" Bakugou shouted, grabbing the boy's collar in anger.
The boy just smirked. He slapped Bakugou's hand away and fixed his uniform. "I don't know~ You don't seem to recognize something so obvious. Well, if you really don't take drugs, I guess you're just mentally challenged." he mocked, raising both hands side by side, palms open.
Before a fight could even break out, a girl suddenly appeared and hit the Copycat on the back of his head.
Bakugou watched him wince in pain.
"Monoma! Don't go off bothering other classes!" the girl scolded the boy.
"K-Kendou, that hurts...!" Monoma voiced out, sounding like a dying person.
