Meanwhile, the strings went eerily close to Bakugou. They seem ready to strangle him.
Bakugou just glared at them and answered carefully. "You clearly saw them teleport through a portal. Obviously, that kind of teleportation quirk belonged to that mist bastard! It wasn't that hard to figure out! If that guy gets close to us, he can separate all of us to who knows the fuck where! For all we know there might be more villains planning to ambush us along the way!!! Now, shut the fuck up and don't waste my damn time!"
Most of the class stared at him in horror, their eyes widening in realization.
That alone, Todoroki nodded with understanding. "I see. You have a point." he said and turned to look at the villains who are fighting Eraserhead right now. "One of us must go and inform the other pro heroes. They should be fast enough to get to them quickly. We'll stay here to buy them time and prevent these villains from coming after them."
Mineta gaped at them. "W-What!? You can't be serious! Are you also suggesting that we should fight those things!?"
"That would be Iida!" Midoriya said. "His quirk can help him go fast. I think he's the best candidate!"
"W-Wha—Me!?" Iida pointed at himself, surprised. "I can't abandon my classmates!!!"
"No, you're not abandoning us. You're saving us. Only you can do it, Iida. We'll be counting on you." Midoriya looked at the boy, his eyes were filled with trust. Uraraka, who’s now beside him, did the same—she also looked at Iida, full of trust.
Iida resigned and agreed with the plan. "Alright, I'll go. I'm also taking—"
"I'm not going to allow you." The warp gate man who happened to hear some of their conversation, appeared right in front of them.
Without warning, they were all scattered into different places.
In the end, everything still went exactly the same as the manga. Bakugou was transported along with Kirishima and had to fight off the villain that ambushed them. Everything was the same. Except, All Might didn't make it in time. Everyone survived, but...Asui died, she got decayed by the villain. As for Aizawa, he got major injuries, his arm was chopped off—it's likely possible that he might become crippled. And Thirteen? She's also severely injured, along with Midoriya.
All of the students were sent back to school, their expressions were grim. An investigation was conducted and everyone was asked with a few questions. Upon hearing their statements, police began to suspect Bakugou.
Although his classmates stated that a villain used a quirk to make him silent, the police decided that they'll be a judge of that.
Bakugou was sent into questioning. Right now, he was seated on a chair and Detective Tsukauchi is right in front of him.
Unfortunately, the detective has a lie detection quirk. So that meant Bakugou would be forced to tell the truth. And that is definitely bad news, because he can't tell them even if he wanted to.
Upon discovering that Bakugou lied about encountering a villain with a silencing quirk, Tsukauchi's eyes narrowed at him. "You lied. Is there a reason why you didn't tell the truth?"
Bakugou remained silent and began to sweat drop. He opened his mouth hesitantly and closed his mouth once again. Guilt was rising within him. Despite knowing everything, someone died because he failed.
When Tsukauchi saw that the boy doesn't have any intentions of answering him, he sighed and leaned back on his chair. "Bakugou, if you intend to keep the truth, we have no choice but to suspect that you're a spy—"
"I'm not a spy!!!" Bakugou snapped, clearly outraged.
Tsukauchi felt somehow relieved when he realized that the kid was telling the truth. At least there's no need to be worried if there are more student spies in this school. "I see. I believe you." he said, causing Bakugou to become less tense. "But I have to know why you lied, otherwise you will still be on the suspect list for withholding such vital knowledge of their plan..."
