Once in a lifetime

Part 2

Beep... Beep... Beep...

"Mmh... What happened... Wait... is that... beeping..?"  You thought to yourself as you sat up on a fluffy bed. "Oh god... why is it so cold in here... what happened to me...?"  You look around and realized you were in a hospital. Confused, you sat up and walked towards a little table with a glass of water on it. You go to pick it up but just end up swiping right past it. "Oh... I must've missed the cup..."  you try and pick it up again but your hand goes right past it again. "You know what.. I'll just go lay down again... it's cold in here anyways..."  you turn around and jump backwards in shock. You saw... yourself. Laying there on the bed. You hesitantly walked towards it and examined it. Your face looked so pail and faded. "...did i..."  

just then, you got tapped on the shoulder by a cold hand. "Hello!" You heard a voice behind you. You turn around and see a floating kid. He looked like a ghost and had little floating particles around him. "...hi-?" You say to him. He smirks and says: "you must be new. What's your name?" You stare at him confused. "What do you mean 'new'? What's going on?" You say. He plants his feet on the ground and smile at them. "You died." He says bluntly. "I... died? How did I die... I'm supposed to be on a date with Ben... not... dead..." you say to him. His smile fades a bit as he starts to look around and eventually walks towards your human body. "Is this you? Your old body?" He says as he leans over the body. You nod to him. He looks at you and back at the body before holding both his hands on the sides of your face. "What are you doing??" You say to him, confused as why he's touching a dead body. Suddenly his hands glow lightly. The glow Transports through his body and fades on where his heart would be. "What was that..?" You ask him. He looks at you and then smiles again. "Oh, that has to be done with all new dead soles. It's like.. a seal of approval that the person has died." He says as he starts kicking his feet at the ground. You hum and watch him kick his feet. 

"So.. what happens now..?" You ask him. "Oh right! Come with me!" He says, grabbing your hand as you both start to glow. You start to feel more warmer and you teleport to a dark place. It looked like outer space but without any stars or anything. It was all black every way you looked besides one little bright portal looking cloud. "Come." He says to you after a little bit and walks towards the cloud. He lays both your hands on it and a screen and keyboard clown show up. He starts to type a name in. It says 'Haru'. He then turns towards you and asks: "what's your name?" You look at him and say: "my names y/n. And I'm guessing your Haru?" You question. He looks back at the keyboard and types in your name while nodding at your question. Once he finishes, the cloud glows brightly to the point you can't see anything and you teleport to your home.
