Being a Math Core wasn't the ideal job for 10th. Sure, he was manufactured in China, sent to Aperture Science, but he wasn't good at math in any way, nor was he designed for doing math. Cave just thought that 10th would be a good candidate for being the Math Core. Now, some would say that's racist, but you can't be racist to a core.

He thought his days of calculating the endless trajectories of the aerial faith plates (not that the trajectories were endless, just the job seemed like forever) were over when Cave died

He thought his days of calculating the endless trajectories of the aerial faith plates (not that the trajectories were endless, just the job seemed like forever) were over when Cave died. The Genetic Lifeform and Disk Operating System seemed a lot better than Cave from the start: killing off all the annoying humans that had ridiculed him. But no sooner had he filed a complaint than he notice something was off. This new Central Core developed a liking towards suffering.

If it was human suffering she'd enjoyed, 10th wouldn't have complained. But she enjoyed the humans' and robots' alike. She'd made the excuse of "just dedicated to testing" countless times, but any core or human would have known by now, that she is a sadistic-

Knowing that 10th hated doing all the calculations, she pressured him even further during the tasks, even adding a consequence for failure. She had once burned him with a laser because one of the test subjects landed on the ceiling instead of the floor and smashed her own head in.

Then there was the legend

Then there was the legend. The man, the core, the Brit that everyone was talking about. The moron who manipulated a test subject into breaking them out. He even got to be the Central Core for a short while, even managing to turn GLaDOS into a potato. He even almost killed her! He was the first core to ever threaten her life. If she has one, that is to say. In the end, GLaDOS used the test subject again and she smacked the core into space. He might be gone, but his story was exchanged among cores deep inside Aperture. He had fans, cores who praised him for the bravery he signified. And one of them was 10th.

And one of them was 10th
