I was lost in my thoughts when Constable came to take me to another room for interrogation. I asked them and they told me that my lawyer wants to meet me. Sidd : Jeez...calm down Vaishnavi..calm down.

Shit..wth..why did I snapped on him. Iski kya galati isme. But pta nhi kyun ise dekh kar apnapan si feeling aayi. Jaise I can say anything in front of him without being afraid of any judgment.

Vaishu : I'm really sorry Sidd...harth. Actually kahin ka gussa kahi or nikal gaya.

SIDD'S POV

Sidd...usually only my closed ones call me Sidd. But abhi jab vaishnavi ne bola it felt as if she is the closest person to me...as if blood related...Kuch bhi Sidd...kitna sochta hai tu.

Sidd : It's totally ok Vaishnavi.

There was complete silence for few minutes when she spoke up.

Vaishu : Don't you want to ask something?

Sidd : What?

Vaishu : Usually lawyers ask the suspect that if they are guilty or not

Sidd : Did you killed Mr. Ruhaan khan?

Vaishu : No...Obviously not...I didn't killed him

I laughed fakely.

Sidd : That's it..I know and I trust you...you didn't killed him.

Vaishu : See I don't know if you really trust me or not but please don't take this case casually. My and my mother's whole life depends on it. Proving myself innocent is the most important thing. I hope you can understand. I don't know how to prove myself innocent. I really didn't murdered anyone.

She had tears in her eyes...and in no time she was a crying mess. My heart pricked seeing her in this condition. I don't know what came into my mind...I immediately stood up...went towards her and hugged her in a protective manner. She too hugged me back and started crying vigorously.

Sidd : Shh..calm down vaishu...calm down. I trust you. I don't know why but my heart says that you can't do this. And I promise I will prove you innocent no matter what. You will be free of accusations. Consider me your brother...and ye ek bhai ka promise hai uski behen se that he will clear her name no matter what.

I didn't evem think twice before calling her my sister. My heart said to protect her and I listened to my heart. Now Noone can stop me from proving my sister innocent. She broke the hug slowly..looked upwards towards me..her eyes asking if whatever she heard right now is true. I blinked assuring her that each and every word I said is true. She finally trusted and hugged me wrapping her small hands around me tightly. I wrapped my hands protectively around her trying to protect my sister from every allegations against her. After a few minutes she calmed down...I slowly broke the hug and went on my knees to face her.

Sidd : You okay now?

Vaishu : Yes

I gave her a glass of water. She drank in a go. I chuckled on her childishness. She glared me and I hold my ears making a cute face. She chuckled. Bss yahi smile cahie thi mujhe meri behen ki. Ab bss ye smile permanently wapas laani hai.

Vaishu : Thanku so much Sidd..harth.

Sidd : No need vaishu..and yess you can call me Sidd..Now your this brother is with you. Nothing bad will happen to you till the time I'm here.

Vaishu : I don't know how I will pay you back for this much kindness. After such a long time I felt that I met my family.

Sidd : Sisters don't need to pay their brothers for anything. Just be my sister for lifetime....that's enough for me.

Vaishu : Always

She smiled genuinely....I smiled back.

Sidd : Accha listen I need to go now...I have to investigate the crime scene..kuch to clues milenge

Vaishu : Ok Sidd.

Sidd : Take care ok?

I went towards her and kissed her forehead. She smiled genuinely..

Vaishu : You too take care.

Sidd : Okk boss.

She chuckled. I left the room and was going towards the crime scene when I saw Yashika in front of me...
