I'm your typical seventeen-year-old girl; I'm 5' tall, have long, pin-straight black hair, and have tan skin. I'm in 11th grade and turning eighteen in a fews months. Incase you don't know, my name is pronounced (Lee-Luh.) My parents decided to leave me with my grandma at the age of five, and we've never seen them since. My grandma says they left for our home country, Mexico. Sometimes I wonder if something happened to them or if they just forgot about me. I like to think they've been trying to find me, though it's not very likely. I do have an older brother though. Well, step brother. He's nineteen. His name is Jose. Jose and I were never close. I guess our parents basically abandoning us had a big effect on him because he was always getting into trouble. After he turned sixteen, he would never be home. And exactly on his eighteenth birthday, he moved out to who knows where. Though, he does come to visit randomly.

Ever since I was a young girl, I've been bullied in school. To this day, I still don't know the reason why. Maybe because I was always reading books or because I was the teacher's pet. The whole class would pick on me, but especially Christopher, although everyone called him Chris. From what I remembered, he was tall and had long, flowy hair. One thing I know for sure, he was a bitch. He did everything he could to make my life terrible. Although, there was one older boy who always stood up for me, but I can't remember his name, nor who he was. He had long black hair, similar to Chris'. He was tall, taller than Chris. Very muscular and especially for his age. Chris even gave me a nickname, which may sound cute until you hear it. Crybaby Lia. He made me hate going to school. Until finally, in the 7th grade, I told my grandma about the bullying. In response, she forced me into homeschooling. But recently, my grandma has decided it would be best for me to be back into public school.
