Drowning

In depths unknown, I find my soul.
A sea of thoughts I can't control.
Waves of doubt crash and churn.
As the tides of fear within me burn.

The weight of sorrow, like an anchor,
Drags me down, a heavy clunker.
Gasping for breath, I strive for air.
Lost in the dark, in this despair.

But amidst the storm, a glimmer of light
A lifeline was tossed to aid my plight.
A hand outstretched, a heart that cares,
Rescuing me from drowning snares

With every breath, I will survive.
I will resurrect through fierce struggles.
Though the waters are rough, I won't succumb.
I'll embrace the rising sun.

And as I break through the surface, gleaming,
I'll learn to swim, and I'll keep on dreaming.
No longer drowned by fear's cruel art,
I'll find my strength in a brand new start.
