Tim and Lucy were driving on patrol. Tim had found it weird that she had been silent all day. He kept glancing in her direction and every time he did she was ether looking in her lap or at the window. He then sighs and then he abruptly pulls over.
"Jesus! Drive much?" Lucy says surprised by his actions.
"Talk much?" Tim fires back.
"What?" She asks avoiding eye contact.
"You always talk nonstop when we're on patrol." Tim says and Lucy sighs.
"I'm not in the talking mood today." She says.
"Yeah I've noticed." Tim says.
"Can we just go?" Lucy asks not wanting to talk about it anymore.
He sighs and continues driving. They were now on lunch and Tim was getting them both food.
"Timothy!" Angela says walking up to him.
"Hey! What's up?" He answers.
"You getting food for you and Lucy?" Angela asks.
"Uh yeah." He answers.
"Get Lucy the #7 it's her favorite." Angela says.
"What can I get you?" The cashier says.
"The #2 and #7" Tim says.
"That will be $25.82." The guy says.
Tim hands him the money and steps aside. He and Angels start talking about their day. When their food is ready he grabs it and heads towards Lucy.
"Here you go Chen." Tim says.
"Oh I'm actually not that hungry." Lucy says.
"Would've been good to know that before I payed for it" Tim says not thinking.
"Right I'm sorry." Lucy says immediately.
"Here!" She says giving him a 20 dollar bill. She then takes her food and goes to sit down with Jackson and Nolan. Tim then goes to sit with Angela and Nyla. When Tim sits down he glances over at Lucy who is picking at her food. He then sighs and starts eating his food joining the conversation with Nyla and Angela. Lucy sighs throwing away her food.
"Let's go Chen!" Tim says.
"Okay." She simply says.
Lucy and Tim finish their shift and Tim spots Lucy walking out of the station.
"Hey Boot!" Tim says as a joke.
"Hey!" She says looking at him.
That's when he notices a couple bruises and cuts on her neck.
"Oh my g-! Are you okay?" Tim asks.
"Oh yeah I'm fine! I slipped in the shower." Lucy says shaking off Tim's worry.
They say goodnight and she goes home. Tim gets home and feeds Kojo and gets ready for bed. When Lucy gets home she sees Tamara doing homework. She says goodnight and goes to her room. When she looks up she sees......
