Lucy woke up feeling broken. Last night was the first time she had been physically abused in a relationship and needless to say she felt weak. She had broken a platter the night before and long story short he left early leaving Lucy with bruises and bleeding cuts. She got up and took a shower preparing herself for the thousands of questions she was gonna get from Angela and Tim. She got ready and headed out dodging Tamara and her 50 million questions. She arrived at the station and avoids Tim and goes straight for the girls locker room. Angela walks in and is the first to notice a bruise on her arm then another on her neck.
"Hey are you okay? What happened?" She asks.
"Oh this is nothing. I'm fine." Lucy says.
"Did Chris hurt you?" She asks sympathetically.
"No he uh he didn't do anything." Lucy says avoiding eye contact.
"Lucy" she says.
"It's nothing! Really I'm fine." Lucy says.
"It's not nothing! You have cuts on your arms and your covered in bruises!" Angela says.
"Look it was my fault! He didn't do anything wrong." Lucy tries to say.
Angela gives up for now walking away with a sigh of disappointment. Lucy takes a deep breath and starts getting dressed and heads to roll call.
"Why are you wearing long sleeves?" Tim asks.
"Since when is me wearing long sleeves a problem for you?" Lucy asks.
"I uhm it's not but it's in the triple digits." Tim says.
"So?" Lucy says.
Angela witnessing the whole interaction.
"So why are you wearing long sleeves?" Tim asks again.
"Because I can!" Lucy snaps and makes her way to Jackson and Nolan.
"What was that about?" Tim asks Angela.
"It's not my business to tell you." She says sadly.
"What's not your business?" He asks. His face showing some concern.
"Nothing! Just don't be too hard on her today." She says and walks off.
Tim sighs and walks into roll call. While roll call started and Grey started with the agenda Tim started preparing himself for the long day he has ahead of him with his past rookie.
