"Oh. Well ok but just in case Max" Leo stated proceeding to slap Eric behind his head
"Oh you little shit" Eric said rushing out of his bed to chase Leo
"No leave him alone he's just a kid"
"But-"
"Maverick" Max said keeping eye contact with him
Whenever she said his full name it indirectly meant for him to shut up
"Come on we're gonna be late. I'm not tryna be like Mike and El right now"
"Well I am" he said tugging her back to the bed
Suddenly his dad came in popping his head round the door with his brother on his shoulders
"Hey Ricky guess what, if you're staying we're doing a family game night and I can show Max your baby pictures and everything-" before his dad could even finish Eric cut him off
"Oh shucks Uhh we've got to go to the Mall now before we're late, the party would kill us, you know places to be people to see and all that. Maybe another time" he said rushing for his skateboard, he grabbed Maxs hand and led her out of the house
"Oh yeah for sure don't let me hold you up just don't be late!" And the door was closed
When they got outside Max slapped his head
"Thought you wanted to stay home huh?" She said teasingly
"Nahh feel like we need a bit of fresh air you know?" He said riding his skateboard as Max rode beside him
Max and Maverick arrived early so they just had a conversation with Will and Lucas.
The party has been waiting for Mike and after ten long minutes he finally showed up
"Your late" Lucas said annoyed
"Again" Eric muttered ever since Mike and El got together he had less time to spend with his best friend.
"We're going to miss the opening" Will voiced his annoyance also tired of mikes behaviour.
"Yeah if you guys keep whining about it lets go!" Mike spoke in a rush.
"If you guys keep whining about it nyeh-nyeh-nyeh." Lucas retorted mocking Mikes sentence.
"Just please stop talking about it dude" Mike responded
"Let me guess you were busy" Lucas said before puckering up his lips making missing noises.
"Oh yeah real mature Lucas" Mike uttered
"Oh El I wish we could make out forever and never hangout with any of our friends" Lucas spoke again continuing to mock Mike
"Lucas stop." Max said tired of the stupid bickering
"What Will and Ricky thinks it's funny" Lucas responded nonchalantly
"That's because it is" Eric spoke resulting in Max elbowing his stomach.
"Yeah so funny I wanna spend romantic time with my girlfriend" Mike said defensively
"Hey, I spend romantic time with my girlfriend, even though she cute you don't see me snogging her any chance I get" Eric replied pulling Max by the waist into his chest. What Alex didn't see was a faint blush on her cheeks.
"Yes we do" they all chanted simultaneously
"Shut up"
The party rushed down the escalator apologising to the people they hit
