Timeline

Genesis Year 001

The Genesis Meteor struck Earth. South Asian countries discovered it and obtained a powerful energy source from within it. When western nations asked for it, they refused, and this sparked the first flame of conflict between nations. Utilising the energy source, the South Asian region advanced in technology and grew in power and influence in the world.

Genesis Year 008

America tried to secretly get a sample of the energy source, "Genesis", but was caught. Angered by this act, South Asia launched an attack on the United States. That was the start of the "First Genesis War". South Asia began improving upon modern war machines, and ended up creating the "Titans", giant war mechs. That gave them the upper hand in battle, and soon, America and all the other western nations, were defeated by South Asia. They become the ruling nation of the world, as the "Eastern Federation".

Genesis Year 013

The EF ruled for five years, all the while still in conflict with the West. But, unbeknownst to either side, Europe, too, had made a move. After careful infiltration, they had managed to successfully obtain a sample of Genesis, and secretly, they developed their own nation, and their own Titans. When the EF finally found out, Europe was more than capable of facing them head on in battle. And so, the "Second Genesis War" began.

Genesis Year 016

The war lasted three years, with major devastation all over the East. North Asia had suffered the most, as both the EF and Europe, now known as "Carpathia", had fought for control over the large land. Most smaller countries of the North Asian region had been completely wiped out, and whatever remained banded together as an independent nation from both the EF and Carpathia. A treaty was signed between the two rival nations, and the entire world entered a period of peace. But it was well known that it would be temporary.

Genesis Year 020

North Asia, helpless without resources or power, agreed to join the South and make the whole of Asia into the Eastern Federation. Already wary about the EF, Carpathia began preparing for an inevitable third war. They took the first venture out into space with Genesis, and built a military base on the moon. Orbital Elevators were built to connect the mainland and the moon base. Within a year, Carpathia had built six additional bases in space, surrounding Earth. Each of these bases conducted experiments to discover new ways to utilise Genesis for warfare. Tensions between Carpathia and the EF had risen by this point, and the world was once more at the brink of war.

One Carpathian noble, Albert Fredric Cairon, publicly revealed all the secret developments in space to the whole world. The Carpathian high council was pressured to cease all projects, but they did not destroy the bases. Cairon also negotiated with the EF not to start another war, and ended up separating the land connecting Europe and Asia as an act of retreat. He became a hero for the Carpathian people for preventing yet another war, and was given a place in the high council. 

Genesis Year 022

The Moon base remained a military stronghold, but its two closest space bases were converted into colonies for Carpathia. That began the age of space exploration. The EF, and secretly, the West, ventured out into space and began building colonies and bases of operations. Five out of the six original bases were converted to different things, but one colony was lost, having drifted out towards Mars.

Genesis Year 028

The Federation prepares to celebrate the twentieth anniversary of their nation. Carpathian Titan development companies begin working on a new project. And the West, too, prepares to reveal a secret they'd been hiding, out to the world.
