After two years of trying to locate the biological father of Lillian and Jonathan Selwyn, Severus finally found out who their father was, and it was Tony Stark. After William Selwyn gave Severus custody of his godchildren because of the connection the Riddle family has with Hydra. He wanted to keep them safe because of his dead wife's wishes that she didn't want them to do anything with what her family wanted them to do or do anything for Hydra. Edward, Alexander, and Jackson had fallen into their grandfather's ideology.
Now Severus stands in front of Tony's house, knocking with the pair of four year olds to either side. Albus told him to just take care of the pair but he wanted them to stay out of harm's way and have somewhat of a normal life and he was not going to break the promise he made to his best friend, Michelle. He also didn't have as much time with them as he spent most of the year at Hogwarts and left them with the Weasleys due to Albus' request.
Happy opened the door to reveal the three and quickly realized the similarities that the pair of four year olds had to Tony. The boy looked the most like him, and the girl had his eyes.
"How may I help you?" Happy said, looking back up at the man that was with the pair.
"I am here to talk with Mr. Stark," Severus said as the pair looked around admiring the house.
"What is the purpose?" Happy said, not really sure what this was about.
"Mr. Stark is their last living parent," Severus said, and Happy thought about it for a bit before allowing them to enter and led them to the sitting room before going to get Tony from his lab.
Happy walked down to Tony's lab and saw him looking at some stuff and blasting music. He put in the code before heading inside. He explained what was happening to Tony, and he didn't believe that he they were his kids, so he ran upstairs with Happy behind him.
Once he entered where Happy said the three were, he saw a man with a girl and boy talking. The girl had blonde hair and brown eyes. Meanwhile, the boy had brown hair and brown eyes like his sister. It was shown that they were calm kids. He walked over to them, and Severus looked at him, removing his sight of vision from the twins who were now quiet and also looking up at Tony.
"Hello, I am Severus Snape, and this is Jonathan and Lillian Selwyn," Severus said as the kids gave him a small wave with smiles on their faces. The last name Selwyn sounded familiar to him but didn't remember where she had heard it from before.
"Hello, Mister Snape, so I heard that you are here because they are my son and daughter, but how can I know that they are my kids?" Tony asked as he motioned to them.
"You can always have a DNA test," Happy said as he stood there watching what was happening.
"Now there is an idea, I have the equipment to do it here so if you will follow me we can get it done," Tony said as he started walking back to the lab and Happy motioned them to follow Tony. Lillian and Arturus walked behind Tony with Severus behind them.
Tony really did not know what to think. What would happen if they were his kid? He wasn't even sure if he was ready to be a father. He was trying to remember where the Selwyn name sounded familiar from.
Once he got in his lab, he quickly got to work after he got a DNA sample from both kids. As he waited, he watched the kids quietly playing on the floor with cards that looked odd to him. The more he looked at them, the more similar he saw to him. Jonathan looked like he did when he was younger.
He was lost in thought when the results appeared as a match. Tony didn't know what to think as Severus and Happy looked at the results. He was the last living parent of two kids.
"Hey Happy, can you take them upstairs, I want to talk to Mr. Snape," Tony said as he turned to Happy before walking over to them.
"You are going with him, so behave and don't do that thing you are not supposed to do around others," Severus said, reminding the kids not to do magic around muggles. They had shown that they were magical before but they couldn't control it and it usually shows when they have strong emotions.
"Okay, Severus," They said in sync as they got up and followed Happy.
"Why was I never told about them until now?" Tony asked Severus once he was sure they couldn't hear him.
"Michelle, didn't know how to contact you, plus she didn't want any of her family to know because if it were to get out she would get disowned," Severus said and he wondered why she would get disowned.
"Why would she get disowned?" Tony asked, and Severus knew he would have to tell him eventually about the wizarding world but not expecting it to happen so soon.
"She was witch and in our world that she along with me, Jonathan, Lillian and her whole family belong to, there are families that want to keep their blood purity and the Black family so happened to be one of them and in attempt to keep it pure they arranged a marriage with William Selwyn to keep the family within old magical families. One of her older sisters was disowned for marrying a muggle born so if they would have found out the same would happen to her but her father wasn't the same and he would probably have ended up doing something to her. Once she died her husband handed them over to me to keep them safe from their family as I am their godfather and I had promised her to find you and hand them over to you so they can meet you if anything happened to her," Severus said and Tony let it sink in. He couldn't believe what he just heard.
"So magic is real?" Tony asked that being the only thing he could say.
"It is, and they have shown to be born magical. They can't control their magical abilities yet so when they have strong emotions it shows," Severus thinking about the times they did magic.
They continued talking and Tony learned quite a lot about the world that his kids were a part of but there were things Severus didn't tell him of. He told him about Hogwarts and about the magic stone as they are now the official owners of.
Meanwhile, upstairs Happy was playing tag with the kids. He wasn't sure how the game started. All he wanted was to get Lillian and Jonathan talking as they were just sitting there quietly without a single word coming out of them. Now the room was filled with laughing and screaming from the kids.
By the time they walked back upstairs they saw Happy running after them. Tony couldn't help but smile as he looked at his son and daughter laughing and smiling. They were looking back at Happy when they ran into Tony and Severus.
"Sorry," They said in sync as they stepped away.
"Your father wants to spend time with you so how do you feel about spending from today until summer here?" Severus asked and the pair looked at each other thinking about it. It was clear that Jonathan didn't want to stay with their dad by his eyes alone but Lillian wanted to give him a chance. Eventually Jonathan gave in to his little sister and nodded at her before turning back to the adults.
"I think it is a great idea," Lillian said with a big smile on her face and her brother followed with a fake smile.
He didn't know how to feel about just giving his dad a chance after 4 years of him not being in his life. William wasn't their biological father but at least he was there for the first two years of their life before handing them over to Severus who was there during the summers, and they stayed with the Weasley while Severus was away teaching at Hogwarts. He was giving him a chance for Lillian.

Their first morning there they didn't know what to do so after they got dressed, they got lost trying to find the stairs but eventually they headed downstairs. They followed the smell of pancakes into the kitchen where they saw Tony cooking . He looked over at the pair, surprised to see them awake this early.
"Good morning kids, there are pancakes if you want some, if not I can make you something else," Tony said before the kids sat on the counter and noticed that they both had books and they were thinking hard cover books.
"Pancakes are fine," Jonathan said before he grabbed a plate and placed one on his plate. Lillian was hesitant to grab one as Tony placed another one on the top stake.
"Your godfather told me you had a milk allergy so I made sure I made them without milk," Tony said before Lillian grabbed one and Tony turned off the stove and sat down across them. He usually didn't cook but he wanted to do it for their first meal with him. He wasn't going to wake them up until after he had the food ready but now he knew that they woke up early.
They sat quietly reading while eating. Tony had no clue how to get a conversation started with the twins. He was thinking of ways to get a conversation but breakfast ended and he hadn't talked to them yet. Lillian helped Tony clean up after breakfast and they managed to get a small conversation going but that ended once they were done and she went searching for her brother.
This was all known to Tony, he never expected to become a father out of the blue. He didn't want to fail the pair but he did not know how to be a father.

Days went by and Tony started building a relationship with Lillian very slowly, but Jonathan was harder to talk to as he didn't want to talk to him. Tony was downstairs while the twins were upstairs with Happy as they grew close with him. He was not expecting that day for Happy to take them downstairs as he had to leave to do something so he dropped the twins off with Tony in the lab.
They had never been there before but at the same time Tony didn't want them to stay upstairs alone as they were kids. Something he realized is that Lillian and Jonathan loved to read and they had very large vocabularies for just being 4 years old.
The two sat on the floor looking at Tony which he found weird as their eyes looked at what he was working on. He soon started getting frustrated as he couldn't figure it out. He sat down and saw the twins whispering at each other with their books on their laps. He almost never saw them with a closed book.
"Why don't you move that over there?" Lillian said as both pointed but he wasn't sure what they were pointing to so motioned them to go over to him. He grabbed their books and placed them off to the side so he would be able to lift both so they could sit on his lap.
"Move what where?" He asked and Lillian reached up to grab something he hadn't thought about moving before passing it over to her brother to place it where he had removed something and then handed that over to his sister which she placed somewhere else before the data showed up. It was perfect and he smiled at the two before placing a kiss on both their heads.
He was surprised that they understood it but he was proud of them. He wrapped his arms around them to make sure they didn't fall before looking at what they were reading and saw they were reading books he had gotten for some classes at MIT he had completely forgotten about.
"Where did you get these?" He asked as he looked at the books.
"Happy, gave them to us, he thought we would find them interesting and they are," Jonathan said this being one of the few times he has spoken to Tony, "It is a really good read actually that we want to learn more about it."
Tony smiled at that, his kids were following in his footsteps, but he didn't want to be like his father and wanted them to grow up with kids around their age.

Months went by and soon it was time for Severus to come by to get them, but they didn't want to leave their father just yet and it showed. Severus saw that they had grown close as the two begged to stay with Tony.
He gave in and let them stay with Tony but that did not stop him from staying with them for a little while. He quickly noticed how much they got along and he knew that they were better off leaving with their father as they would have a more stable life with Tony than they would living with him.
As the years went on Lillian and Jonathan started muggle school and graduated high school before they were 11. Tony grew to love and care for the pair more than anything. He made sure that he did not treat his kids like his father did to him.
