Link was near the skyview tower in zora domain, when a rito began circling overhead, link finished climbing the hill and stoped. The rito landed a few feet away from him, the rito had light blue feathers with reminded him of kass where was he anyway? Link was snapped from his thoughts by a quick cough from the rito.
"Oh sorry I was lost in my own head there, what do you need mr..."
"Kade"
"Right what do you need mr.kade"
"Nothing I just her to deliver a message from lookout landing"
Shit link thought what happened that they need to send a message to him, normally they wait till he past though to tell him did something really bad happen!
"O-oh okay what it's about" link said gulping down his fear
Mr.Kade look at him strangely, then understanding shone in his eyes
"It's nothing bad?! Well nothing kingdom ending" He said quickly "It just purah just want to ask for your help in looking for a missing person"
Oh thank Hylia it just a missing person and not gannon coming back, occasionally when people go missing and they can't find them, they as link for help because he knows the land so much ( and can travel it a lighting speed) but that doesn't happen often. Link composed himself
"Okay who are we looking for then? And where were they last seen?"
"I'm sorry all I know is that the missing person is a male and his father and brothers are looking for him" Kade reported
Hearing this link felt a wave of hope wash over him it could be his brother's! But link couldn't get his hopes up, only for disappointment to come crashing over him a besides his second quest finished 3 months age he thought surely they would've already came if he was need on their quest but who would need him a fallen hero. But he couldn't help have a small bit of hope left that maybe his brothers would come after all.
"How many were in the family and what were there ages"
Link thought that this might sound like a strange question to ask but he need to know if they where his family, and even if they weren't it would be good to know there ages so he could guess the missing person age.
"Well . . . I only saw them from a distance, but what I could make out there's four , two short ones who are probably around 13 to 14. also, taller one probably 24ish and the father who look to be in his 40" Kade recalled
Link felt disappointment wash over him they weren't his brothers he had eight not four and wind was the only one who was 14, he knew he should've not got his hopes up and yet the small bit of hope he had built up was knocked down, but he was going to help find there lost brother because he knows how much it hurts to miss you brothers. He was not let them go without closure.
"Thanks Mr.kade that was very helpful, I'll head to look out landing now" link said stiffly
Kade stood there a moment looking at him he gave a little sigh before replying "Your welcome link" and with that he took off into the sky
Link thought meekly ,strange how ones name could sound so foreign to them and in all honesty he personally preferred Wild, it fit him more it was his and not who he was a 103 years ago
With a small sigh link pull out his purah pad and clicked on the skyviwe tower at lookout landing and then began fading into small blue particles. The feeling of teleporting was just like the portal between hyrule he and the others have traveled in ( maybe that why he was unaffected by them when they weren't?)
When lookout landed came into focus he pulled his hood up to shield himself from the rain it was sunny a zora domain but of course it was pouring out here just his luck he thought and with that he began walking over to where purah was normally
He was climbing up the the stairs when robbie came running out of the building
"Link, those people are very strange"
Link thought this was a little unfair considering that it was Robbie who was talking
"We shouldn't judge people Robbie"
"Hmfp, purah not here at the moment she'll come back later you should probably go and ask them a few questions about there missing brother though"
"I will Robbie" he said with a small smile
When link got to the door he could hear muffled voices from inside he didn't know why but he felt nervous going in they could be yiga for all he knows, granted they are rare in the as most of the yiga are still in the deeps and a group of yiga almost unheard of? Also, they couldn't have got past everyone at the landing. But still he changed into hylian armour top and bottom and korok masks which made it kinda hard to see but it hid I face
He push the door open inside were eight hylians he felt his heart stop
One was in armour and had strange markings on his face
One had a wolf pelt on his shoulders
One had a white cape
One had a multi coloured tunic
One hands were covered in rings
One had a blue tunic with a white design
One had a blue scarf
One was in a simpler green tunic
The world slowed down as they turned to look at him
"You're the one they sent to help us?" Legend questioned
Link when to respond but only a small inhale cam out. The room was deathly quiet for about two seconds all we're looking at him exceptionally, till the silence was shattered by legend.
"so you have a name? or are we going to call Leaf mask?!" He asked visible annoyed
"Legend be polite!" Whisper sky
"Ah sorry from my brothers rudeness, you are the one helping us no?" Warriors said with his winning smile "We're all very worried about a brother so some of us are quite snappy"
"So what is your name?" Twilight asked
Another few seconds of silence while link was trying to figure out what to say finally he figured it out
"I think you already know" link says taking of his mask tears stinging his eyes threatening to spill out
Silence echo through out through out the room
It was finally broken by the mix reaction of pure joy from the others
