Rain had been in love with her crush, Ryan, for as long as she could remember. They had known each other since kindergarten, and Rain had always been drawn to his kind heart and gentle nature.
Rain had been sure that Ryan was the one for her. But, to her surprise, Ryan was now engaged to another girl. Not only that, but the girl was her enemy. She had never been able to stand her, and now she had taken away her one true love.
Rain was absolutely heartbroken. She could barely look at Ryan without tears streaming down her face. But, deep down, she still loved him with all her heart.
One day, after weeks of being apart, Rain and Ryan had a chance meeting. They were both surprised to see each other and, for a moment, they just stood there, looking into each other's eyes. Rain could feel all the love she had for Ryan come flooding back into her heart.
Ryan, however, was not as moved. He told her he had to go, and walked away quickly. Rain was crushed.
That night, Rain couldn't sleep. She couldn't help but feel that there was something between them that they had never been able to explore. She knew that Ryan had feelings for her too, and she couldn't help but wonder if things could have been different if they had just taken the chance.
