The red night

Mixed blood

Blood pouring down the little girl. She is sitting on the sidewalk, back pressed up on the before cute bakery, but now it is in ruins. The little girl's pink dress is slowly turning red as the blood keeps pouring down from a big creature's mouth, as it just a second ago chewed the little girl's mom. The mothers blood soon mixes with the little girls, as the creature lifts the little girl up and slowly chews her. The creature turns around only to face an empty street. Buildings are destroyed and are in ruins. All the living things are dead, this creature ate everything like a dinner. The sky seems dead as well, it's red and the moon is barely seen behind the dark clouds.

The alarm goes at the base, men in uniform start to run towards their vehicles. They are fast seated and soon in the air. The only thing heard is the wind in the red night, their ships are as quiet as mice. Inside one of the ships is a soldier named Philip, he has a family at home waiting for him. Inside his ship is a picture of his wife and two children. Inside another ship sits a soldier named Charlie, they are 16. They has a mother and dog waiting at home. In jet another ship sits a soldier named Evelyn and she plans to return to her studies at university when this is over. The only problem is that none of these soldiers are gonna return home this red night. Their blood is gonna mix with the little girl's blood inside the creature. Their blood is gonna drip and paint the city red. The only thing left for the creature is to make its way to jet another city and paint its walls red.

In an apartment in the other city is a girl dancing around in her room. She quietly taps around the room as her body fills with music blasting in her ears. Her headphones almost falls of as she is spinning around. She is supposed to sleep that red night, but she can't. Instead of sleeping she's awake. When the music ends she looks out in the quiet red night. She takes off her headphones and walks to the window. She climbs up the window and sits down. Her legs are dangerously dangling outside. The fall down would kill her, but doesn't stop her from living the moment. She only gets the chance to breathe a few breaths when the ground starts to shake. She looks down the road to see a big creature walking down the road. It isn't super tall, it only reaches the top of the lamppost. It's blacker than the night, it's mouth is as big as two doors. The buildings collapse as the creature crashes every building it walks by. The creature is walking on all four, front legs much taller than the bent back legs. The girl in the window is freaking out as the creature is right under her. The creature's white glowing eyes spots her and it stands up on it's back legs. It's reaching up grabbing the girl. She's screaming and screaming until her throat hurts. She screams even louder when the creature is opening its mouth and slowly eating her. Her screams have woken the entire city up and everyone looks out the window. The girl's screaming is being cut off by the creature chewing her.
Her blood is the first in that city to paint the walls red.
Her blood is the first in that city to mix with the little girl's blood.
That's the last thing everyone in that city sees. Soon the creature leaves the city in ruins, everything dead and painted red. The red night counties forever.
