There was panic everywhere as people tried to run away from the death, even though it would still catch up with them.

Earth 50101 was destroyed.

All that Miguel had explained to them, to Miles, replayed in Hobie's head as he ran through the streets.

"Inspector Singh's death was a canon event. You shouldn't have been there. You shouldn't have saved him."

Desperate people screamed and cried for help as they began to slowly glitched away.

"And now Miles, since you destroyed the canon event, Pavitr's dimension is getting out of the forum. If we're lucky, we can stop it. We haven't always been lucky."

They all thought they could stop it. Hobie thought they could save Pavitr and his dimension. But they were wrong. They tried their best, but there was no way they could stop it. So Hobie did the only other thing he could do, the only thing he had to do. He looked for Pavitr.

"Pavitr!"

Pavitr was lying on the ground. He looked up, his expression full of pain, despair and fatigue, as if he didn't know what was happening.

"Hobie...?"

Hobie bent down to him and supported him.

"I'm here, Pav, I'm here... I've got you," Hobie swallowed hard as he tried to hold back his tears. Pavitr shivered and glitched in his arms as he tried to hold his eyes open.

"H-hobie... i'm scared...," Pavitr brought out in a weak fragile voice. The blood loss Pavitr suffered during the fight made it difficult for him to think clearly. His whole body ached, everything was so bright and he didn't understand what was going on.

Hobie hugged him tighter and stroked one hand through Pavitr's hair.

"Don't worry Pav, don't worry.... everything is going to be okay..." Hobie closed his eyes and hugged him tighter as he let a silent sob escape. He didn't want to lie to Pavitr, but he didn't want to panic and scare him even more.

"I..." Hobie took a deep breath as tears ran down his face.

"Remember when we were teasing Miles and Gwen, about their love?"

A faint smile formed on Pavitr's face.

"Don't you know how red they both got?"

Hobie smiled, "Yeah, that was funny, especially when Gwen threw popcorn at us. Or remember when I made fun of you with the paper cup and the pencil I'd put through my hand? You got so scared you fell over, because you thought I really had slammed that Pencil through my hand."

Pavitr laughed weakly, which made him cough slightly. Hobie's heart broke when he saw blood running down the corner of his mouth.

"Or when we watched a movie together and Gwen and Miles made pictures of us cuddling in our sleep?" Pavitr hugged him back, trembling.

"Or when we collected money as a street band to buy food for the strays?"

Hobie sobbed as he looked down at Pavitr with a tense smile.

"That was fun... the strays were cute...," Pavitr rested his hand on Hobie's cheek and wiped away a tear.

"I've never seen you cry before..."

"Pretty uncool, huh...?" Hobie laid his hand on Pavitr's as another sob escaped him.

"No, absolutely not. Everyone cries sometimes... I..." Pavitr was now sobbing too.

"I love you Hobie... please don't forget me..."

Hobie's eyes widened as Pavitr began to glitch harder. He dissolved.

"I won't," Hobie sobbed as he hugged him tighter. "I love you too, so much... you're one of the best people I know. I'll never forget you. Never, I promise."

"Thank you... Hobie..."

Before Hobie could say anything more, it was too late. One last tear ran down Pavitr's face, before he was gone. Hobie stared at the hair band in his hand, the only thing that Hobie has from Pavitr. He pressed it against his chest as he began to cry.

"Hobie...," Miles stood behind him, Gwen not far away as well. They both crouched down on the floor and hugged him tightly. It was the only thing they could do. Nothing, nothing could describe the pain that the loss of Pavitr caused to all three of them
