I hated the bright sun while I was trying to do my makeup. It always blinded me through the mirror. I also hated working for my bestfriend. God love Irene but, she is not the type you want as your boss. She was either to bossy or didn't have the balls to say anything. I love Irene but please for the the love of god can she fire me?

My phone rang wild from Irene. Asking me to pick up breakfast, if I turned in my time-sheets, or if I was willing to pick up any more hours. I dreaded when she asked me to pick up more hours, knowing I was obligated too, all because she was my best friend.

"Irene for the love of god why are you calling me, " I stated clearly annoyed "You've been blowing up my phone for the last thirty-minutes."

"Well, Morning to you too, Olivia," She giggled " I need a favor."

The last time she asked me for a favor she had me steal almost five bottles of wine from her parents and then steal her dad's cigarettes'.

"Irene, I really can't this time," I half whined

"Please, Hyunseo's coming to Seoul and I can't house him." My breathe hitched, Hyunseo is Irene's little brother. I hadn't seen him since we were teens and even then I didn't really speak to him.

"I'm almost confident he doesn't want to stay with his sister's friend." I could practically hear her eye's rolling.

"He doesn't care. I already asked and he didn't mind if you didn't." There was no way I was getting out of this one, she had me in a corner.

"Fine" I sighed as she started to cheer out.

"Thank you, Olivia. He'll be here tonight around four-thirty."

I hummed in response and hung up.  Today was going to be a long day, I text Irene and told her I was taking the day off sense I was doing her a favor plus my house was a mess, it need some major cleaning.

It took me over four and a half hours to get this place spotless, most of the time was spent washing, drying, and folding my laundry. I went to the grocery store and picked up things for dinner and for kimchi tomorrow night. With that I had about an hour to spare which is to take a shower.

I start to prep dinner. I was making egg-fried rice and spicy chicken. Nothing special, but it would be nice for him and I to have a nice meal.

Irene had called me to inform me that Hyunseo was on his way to my apartment now but I assumed he would probably be another ten to fifth-teen minutes but as soon as I hung up I heard knocking at my door.  I looked through the peep hole to see Hyunseo.

"Hello, come in," I opened the door "Let me grab some of your bags and show you to your room."

"I've got my bags," He huffed "Just show me to the room."

I smiled and had him follow me up "It's not much, I hope it will do." He nodded tossing his jacket to the chair in the corner.

"Dinner will be done in about thirty minutes." He gave me a thumbs up and I went back down to the kitchen.

Dinner wasn't my best I wasn't even sure if he liked it. I was almost positive he didn't but he didn't complain instead ate it all. If we were teens he dead-ass would've told me that I should make him something different, or he would just toss it out.

Hyunseo seemed to change a lot after moving to Busan. Not to mention he had a major glow up. Before he wore all black listened to American punk-rock music. Not saying his still doesn't he just seems more mature.

"Hey Hyunseo," I tapped his hand and he looked at me curious "How was Busan? Irene told me you had a great job and an amazing girlfriend."

He rolled his eyes "It was ok," He was very vague "I didn't tell Irene, but my girlfriend and I broke up and that's why I'm back in Seoul."

"Oh well, I'm sorry. " He smiled for the first time since being here.

"Don't be, she was.." He paused "Something else" He then laughed and extended his hand "Give me your plate, I'll do the dishes. It's the least I can do."

I gave him the plate and followed him to the kitchen. I emptied the other dishes and wiped down the counters. It would usually take me for ever (mainly because I got distracted). Though it didn't take long.

Plopping down on the couch I grabbed the remote and turned the TV on. I offered for him to watch a show with me but he declined saying he just wanted to unpack and get ready for bed.  I understood and didn't bother him again.
