Everything I see, is colorful. Everything I hear, has a hue. Every word, had a shade. Every feeling had a shadow. Every shape, is vibrant painted with something.

"Miss Young!!!" Adelyn Young is jolted out of her stupor and looks up to the front of the classroom.

Her teacher Mrs.Knight, stands at the front of the classroom, staring her down.

"Oh-uh, um I'm sorry could you repeat the question." Adelyn stammers

"I was asking if you were present." Mrs.Knight asks, raising an eyebrow.

Snickers of her classmates fill the room. Adelyns ears burn.

"Uh, y-yes." Adelyn meekly answers.

"Okay then." Mrs.Knight nods, and then continues her roll call.

Adelyn slides back down clutching her sketchbook to her chest, ignoring the quiet laughs of her fellow peers. "Watcha drawing Addy?" A voice whispers behind her. Adelyn looks behind her to see Kaleb peering over her shoulder, trying to appear as if looking at her sketchbook when quite obviously looking at her chest

"Watch it Kay. I can make your life miserable." Adelyn whispers back, lifting her chin and faking bravado. "Touche." Kaleb replies, but withdrawing back to his seat.

Adelyn looks around to make sure nobody else had anything to say to her then unfolds her book to her recent work of art. Zachary. A tall swimmer boy in all of her classes, dark tanned skin, slightly exotic look yet not asian or indian, it was frustrating he was.... well defying the perfect description really. Cute. Short black hair. Nice. Dark tanned skin. A perfect drawing subject.

Just the right shaped face, dark brown eyes, and then the smile.

His shape was still appearing on the paper, slowly forming, being created and unveiled with the simple graphite lines. Jawline, the bridge of the nose, eyes, neck, lean shoulders, easy smile messy hair.

But i was just the same. The same as every other portrait of every other unsuspecting person she'd drawn. Adelyn gritted her teeth flipping backwards through the pages of her notebook.

Ashley Komero-watercolor: bright happy painted in red hair, round piercing green eyes, out of place against the fading freckles and soft appearance

Jenni Smith-acrylic: long long brown hair fading of the page, accenting her golden caramel oval eyes, and tanned skin shaped to a long face

Bailey Quartz- watercolor:an average dirty blond with sad blue eyes staring through the messy waves of hair framing her square jaw.

Devon (aka Danger) Parker- an abstract(paint): messy black hair spiked up accenting his narrow jaw, black eyes(color not injury), high cheekbones, sharp and brought out, pale skin, and yet everything seems to be fading into the skulls and dark designs. It seemed to fit his gothness

James Grenton-pastels: full figure showing, hands in pockets for sophisticated hair, slicked back white blonde hair shows his smirk and slate grey eyes.

Sh'kayla Denton-just pencil: which blends perfectly into her high up in status characteristics, her cocoa brown skin seemingly shining, hardest part was the full and perfect lips curling into an "i told you so" smirk

Yasmine Rodriguez- colored pencil: arms pumped up in a victorious cheer, soccer implied in background, tanned face shining with sweat, but chocolate brown eyes triumphant , black ponytail swinging behind her.
