Ran kept feeling like he should go find Sanzu and apologize. He felt so bad for the things he said and didn't mean any of it. Ran went on his phone and dialed Sanzu's number. Praying he would respond, even if he resented him all he wanted to do was hear his voice. He stared at his phone, tears in his eyes, waiting for a response.
Sanzu looked at his ringing phone, wondering if he should answer it or not. He couldn't stop thinking about Ran, not his brother, not his sister, but Ran. But then he remembered the thing Ran said to him before he left. He anticipated which button he would press; Do I answer it... or not?
~*ON CALL*~
Sanzu:...Hello?
Ran: Sanzu?! I'm so sorry for everything I said, I take it all back! Where are you?! I wanna see you!
Sanzu: I'm going to live with my friend... It would be best if we stopped talking... bye...
Ran: No, wait!! Please, I'm sorry, I'm begging you, please don't leave me! I love you!!
Sanzu:.............
~*END OF CALL*~
Sanzu hung up after that. He didn't know what to say. Even though he would love nothing more than to run into Ran's arms and be with him forever, his former tutor had said an awful thing to him that he just couldn't forgive him for.
Ran felt tears run down his face as he sat there regretting everything. He remembered when Sanzu said that he meant nothing to him but something inside Ran just didn't care and knew Sanzu was his true love.
Rindou listened to the sound of Ran's cries and couldn't help but wish the worst upon Sanzu. He hurt his brother, and for what reason? He had no right to do this. All Ran ever did was try and help him. He helped with his schoolwork and he tried convincing him to go down the right path.
"Hey... Ran... You okay...?" Rindou came in and asked him softly.
"No... I'm not... I'm really not..." Ran mumbled with tears falling from his eyes.
"Listen... The course of true love never did run smoothly... I read that somewhere. I think it's Shakespeare." Souya spoke standing next to Rindou.
Ran smiled slightly at the thought of those two coming in to ask him if he was okay. Rindou and Souya continued to try and cheer Ran up. Eventually, the three boys fell asleep in the living room.
Once Sanzu arrived at Koko's house, the black haired male pulled him into a hug. The two of them talked till around midnight, Koko forced Sanzu to tell him everything that happened. They both soon fell asleep in Koko's bed. Sanzu lay at the bottom and Koko at the top.
Morning came quite quickly leaving the two problematic lovers still wishing they had each other. Sanzu and Koko got up and dressed, deciding it would be nice to go to a bar to get their minds off of things.
The bar was more crowded than ever today.
"Hey, you're good at gambling right? Why don't ya gamble some money for our lunch, eh?" Koko asked.
"Yeah, yeah. I'll try, buy me a drink while I go to win us some money." Sanzu replied, walking off to gamble some money.
Koko nodded and went to the bar counter to get some drinks, waving bye to Sanzu. The pink haired male was walking to the "gambling spot" in the bar when he suddenly bumped into someone.
"Hey you're Sanzu, right?" The male spoke.
"Uhm, yes, do I know you?" Sanzu asked.
"I'm Nahoya. Souya's twin brother. It's nice to officially meet you!"
"Oh, yes, I've heard plenty about you!" Sanzu then remembered his fight with Ran. "But I uh.. I'll see you around, bye Nahoya."
"Wha-? Oh... bye..."
Sanzu couldn't stop thinking about Ran once he bumped into one of the Kawata twins. He won them a little money, then just sat aside, turning gloomy once again.
"Dammit, I thought I fixed ya, what's wrong Haru?" Koko asked, sitting down next to him with their drinks.
"I just... I miss him... I want him..." Sanzu mumbles.
"Just let go of him Haru, he isn't worth your time...." Koko then spots his fiancee, Seishu Inui, out of the corner of his eye. "I'll be right back, just try and be happy." He then ran off to see the love of his life.
Sanzu sat there, still thinking about Ran, when something popped up in his head, "I would never leave you... I promise...". Ran was the only person who ever said that to him. Man, what the hell am I doing? Sanzu thought. This was the man he was meant to be with. He knew it. Every time he's with Ran he gets this feeling he's never felt with anyone before, not even Manjiro.
The boy dashed out of the bar and made a beeline for Ran's house. He banged on the door the second he arrived. When the door opened he was met with a pair of furious purple eyes.
"What the hell are you doing back here?" Rindou retorted.
"Listen, I know you probably hate me for hurting your brother but please, I'm begging you, let me talk to him." Sanzu begged.
"He's not even here right now, he went to clear his head. But even if he was here, I wouldn't let you in, you scum." Rindou then slammed the door in Sanzu's face.
Sanzu's face felt hot with embarrassment as tears rolled down his cheeks. He walked away from the house, wishing he hadn't left Ran that night. The male kept walking on the sidewalk for almost an hour when he suddenly felt hungry. He thought about going back to Koko's but he didn't wanna see his reaction when he found out he had ditched him to go see Ran. So, he stopped at the first place he met Ran, the small store, kinda close to his old house.
Once he walked in, he was thankful there were only a few people there. He was embarrassed because his eyes were red and puffy. He walked to the back since that's where the stuff he likes is and went over to pay when he suddenly bumped into someone, causing him to cry as he remembered that's how he first met Ran.
"I'm so sorry, did I bump into you hard- Wait... Sanzu...?" The man in front of him spoke.
"...Ran?" Sanzu mumbled, wiping his tears.
Ran hugged Sanzu tightly as they both burst into tears. Neither of them cared that they were probably getting stares from the few people there and the workers. Ran pulled away from Sanzu slightly and looked him in the eyes.
"I'm so sorry about what I said, all I wanted was you to be okay..." Ran uttered.
"No, I'm sorry, I never should have left you and I lied about saying you mean nothing to me, you're my everything..." Sanzu hugged Ran tightly.
Ran placed his hand under Sanzu's chin, lifting his head up to face him. Quicker then they knew it, their lips connected, and they had their first kiss. Their tongues danced together as they made out in the middle of the store.
Rindou sighed as he looked through the window of the store.
"Honestly, I don't know what the heck is wrong with you, I think they're an adorable couple." Souya stated.
"You're full of BS but... I guess it ain't that bad." Rindou sighed.
"Hey, it's like us, we fight all the time but we still love each other. Love has its ups and downs. It wouldn't be true love if you never fought before." Souya commented.
"Yeah... I guess you're right." Rindou smiled and kissed Souya on the cheek as the two of them walked off.
Ran broke the kiss between him and Sanzu.
"I love you Sanzu... will you please be my lover...?" Ran asked.
"Of course I will, and I love you too..."
I hope you enjoyed! Sorry it was short! Lmk if you liked it :D
