"Jimmy fucken hold your end, if you let your side go they all go." Rip yelled. I rode up past rip to help Jimmy.
"Rip, ones running." I yell. Riding after the heifer swinging my rope in the air.

We were bringing all the heifers into the next paster, because dad saw a bear in the paster over. After rounding them all up and moving them. Me and rip where set out to go chase off the bear. We rode up the mountain and got off our horses. Rip grabbed his rifle and we started walking.
"Rip." I say very quietly pointing towards the bear. All of a sudden we here yelling. It sounded like help. Rip looked at me concerned. We walked up and around the rock.
"Shit rip, look." I say looking down at the two people hanging on the edge of the cliff.
     "Fuck." He mumbled.
" stay here rip I will go grab my rope." I say running back to the horses. Running back over to him he throws it down. The man doesn't know who to speak English. There was some miss communication and they ended up both slipping.
"Shit shit shit, Oakley move." Rip says grabbing the rifle and shooting behind me.
"Well shit rip, we're fucking screwed."
    "Damn it."
"We will take care of this rip." I say looking at his eyes through the sunglasses.  We ride back down and find my dad. We tell him what happened and he calls the sheriff. We ride them up there.
"Jesus, John this is a mess." The sheriff says to my dad.
"Come on all it was is self defense." He says back.
"Really john, they threw them a rope, and they both slipped, both, I am sorry if I don't believe you muscle." He said looking at rip.
"Fuck you, and yes they both fucken slipped." Rip says moving towards the sheriff.
"Get your man John." The sheriff says as I jump infront of rip shaking my head no.
"I try to do something right, I should I have Buried them all." Rip says.
"I will send an agent out today." The sheriff says and I cut him off.
"Wait wait wait. Rip was standing right there and nether of us picked up the casing."
"Oakley." Rip said under his breath.
"Just, do you trust me?" I ask him
"God damn It yes." Rip says.
"So sheriff, where the fuck is the casing?" I look at my dad. He walked up to the sheiff and grabbed his pocket, and pulling out the bag.
"Oh sheriff, where did you find this." The deputy next to him asked.
"Where he said. Shit I forgot I picked it up alright. " He said looking at rip.
"See thats damn near close enough for me." Rip says.
"I would have to agree sheriff." The deputy says. Rip and I ride back down the mountain.
" I told you to trust me." I say to rip.
"I did trust you." He says back. There was a silence. " I am sorry about the other night. I shouldn't be talking to you like that."
"Like what rip, nothing was unprofessional about that, I like your smile and you injoy being around me, right?"
"Yeah, yes you do  somehow always brighten the mood." Rip says in the low chuckle.
"Even though sometime I can be annoying."
     "Who says?"
"I am the annoying younger sibling." I say.
"Annoying, younger sibling, to who Beth, kayce. There both 10 times more annoying then you and you can't even bring up Jamie, hell your the only normal person out of the family." Rip says laughing. "Also I deal with wranglers all day, sometimes I feel like your the only person I can actually have a conversation with."
"Ah come on give Lloyd some credit." I say back.
"Oh ok great so my list goes you and then Lloyd." I shake my head and smirk.
"I would have to say out of all the person I know, you are the top of my list to."
"Hmm, good I should stay up there, who's my biggest competitor, I will take care of them."
"Shit rip I didn't know you had a sense of humor."
    "What I am always funny."
"Rip wheeler you are many things, funny is not one." I say sarcastically. " and you biggest competitor is my dad and my horse, so I think you will be fine."
"Well then, I am one lucky man."
"Yes, yes you are, do you think I will have to fight Lloyd for my spot?"
"Yeah I think so but honestly you would win." Rip says with a grin.
"Well then I might be one lucky woman." By this time we have rode back to the ranch.
"Thanks Oakley, for saving my ass up there."
"No thank you for trusting me." I say walking up to the house.
