We looked at the boy, he seemed familiar but from where? Then a sparrow flew over chirping.

"Oh it's you hello again"

"M/n you know the bird?"

"Yes I called him cute when I saw him at the final selection"

"Oh!"
The sparrow was telling me about his owner and how it was hard working with him.

"Oh you poor baby would you like for me to help?"

"Chirp Chirp"

"Ok lets go"
I walked over to the boy who was begging for the girl to marry him.

"Excuse me"

"Huh"

"Can you please let go of her?"
I guess his grip loosened and she got free and started hitting him before leaving. Once she was gone the boy clung to me.

"Marry me!"

"I'm a guy and I'm older than you!"

"Hey let my brother go!"

"Chirp Chirp!"
Tanjiro pulled him off me and shielded me from him. This guy is really nuts, who asks random people to marry them? I looked at him, he seems to be weak but I can sense that he's not. I walked over to him but Tanjiro grabbed my hand.

"M/n"

"It's ok Tanjiro"
He let go and I stood in front of the boy.

"Excuse me um.."

"Chirp Chirp"

"Oh ok Zenitsu"

"How do you know my name!?"

"Oh you sparrow told me, he also said it's really hard to work with you"

"What?! Wait you're the guy who talked to the sparrow at the final selection!"

"Yes that was me I'm M/n Kamado, this is my brother Tanjiro"

"Please protect me!!!"

"Huh but aren't you a demon slayer?"

"I got tricked into this!"
He then started to rant about how he was going to die soon.

"M/n he's insane"

"I know"

"I can hear you two!!"

"Zenitsu why don't you come with us"

"M/n?!"

"Wait really you'll protect me!?"

"Yes but I have one rule"

"Yes I'll do anything!"

"Don't go begging girl to marry you it's not nice"

"But I'll die alone if I don't!"

"No you won't cause I'll protect you ok?"
Zenitsu nodded and started walking along with us.
