Lord Enma; 'Workplace Escape'

As you ran in, the familiar smell of books hit you. Shelves and stacks of books were everywhere. "Is this a library? But it's so... colorful.." You muttered out in confusion. Your eyes saw Lord Enma near a stack of books near a corner. You rushed to reach him. "Enma! Why did you run in so fast?" You whispered at him. He turned to you with an excited look. He then showed off one of the books in your face. "For manga! They're kinda like books, but they have pictures that show scenarios and stuff!" Lord Enma explained as he flipped through the pages to show you. "I see..." Was all you said. You left to go pick up a manga that was displayed. It had the space girls on. "Sailor Cuties..?" You read out loud. You decided to skim a bit of the manga before putting it back, while it was interesting, you didn't think it was the right souvenir.

After you came back from briefly reading, you saw Lord Enma trying to walk with a stack of manga. It was covering most of his face. "What the-!? Enma!!" You ran up to him to grab some of his stack so that he can see and won't fall. "Why do you have so many!? You could've fall and gotten hurt!" You questioned. He gave a sincere smile, "Sorry [Your Yo-kai Name], this is my favorite and the whole set was available! I just have to get it." You gave him the most blankest stare ever.

➤ Nate's Point of View

I entered the manga shop to see if there was any new ones released. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw two people with a stack of manga in their arms. One was a girl... wearing a leaf on her head? And the other is... wait.. is that..!?

"Hey, Whisper... is that a yo-kai over there?" As I pointed at Lord Enma and the girl. He gave me that look when he thinks I'm wrong. "Nate, do you need to get your eyes check? That is clearly just two ordinary people talking." I blinked twice. Nope, she doesn't look like a human. Actually... she looks familiar. "Whisper, you're the one that nyeeds to get their eyes checked..." Jibanyan said blankly. Whisper waved his finger in front of Jibanyan. "Now, now, Jibanyan." He pointed at the girl, "That is clearly a girl having a conversation with her friend-" "Just open your eyes!!" Jibanyan shouted as he jumped onto whisper, forcing his eyelids to open. "Eh?"

"WHISU!!!!!"

Me and Jibanyan covered our ears from how loud whisper shouted. "Why did you yell so loud!?" Jibanyan said. Whisper then smacked Jibanyan, "Have you got no shame!? That is [Your Yo-kai Name]! She is the secretary for Lord Enma and Zazel! She is also the sister to Zazel himself!" He yelled out. He then pulled on Jibanyan's ears, "She just as important as the both of them! She is practically a CEO! No... an executive, just like the Lord!! So give her the respect she deserves!" Jibanyan cried out it pain. "Ow, ow, ow! Stop that, nyow!!" No wonder she looked familiar. So that Zazel's sister? She looks so similar to him. And so young... maybe even younger than Lord Enma! Should I go talk to them? No... they seem to be busy. I should just leave them alone. I went around the corner to see my favorite manga on the shelves.

"W-what the-!?"

The whole shelf was gone! Who could possibly afford all of that manga! I couldn't even get the newly released ones...

You sweatdropped at the four bags Lord Enma was holding. Each containing at least six books! You didn't manage to count how many he bought... the face of the poor cashier when he saw all of those books on the counter. Despite that, he was smiling from ear to ear! You and him were currently on an escalator to get to the next floor.
