Me and Chang'e come up with a brilliant plan.
We make our way to the large mall and decide to split up,
both of us with a little basket.
We promise each other to meet back at the cafeteria in an hour.
I make my way and head into Hot Topic, looking for something Macaque would like.
A lot of the things had potential, but I wanted to reaaallyyyy make sure I'd get something nice.
Plus, I had a budget.
I pick out a few smaller things,
but it isn't enough.
Keychains and buttons
aren't enough.
I pay for the items and head into another store similar.
I find some cool journals and pick them up.
I look around for stickers he could add onto the journals incase plain wasnt gonna cut it.
I look at journal planning stickers, but then fall indecisive on them.
Wouldn't that feel like force??
I take a few steps backward and stare at the hello kitty stickers.
They're so silly...
I threw them into the basket.
But then I added spacey stickers of course.
Y'know... To cover it up...
Clearly the hello kitty stickers are for Mac.
Right everyone?
I grab some pens and check out.
Only an hour has passed?
I feel kinda bummed out, I don't know what else I could get him.
I go into a clothing store and look around.
There, there's a very funny sweater I figured he might like.
I quickly take it off the hanger and bring it to the desk.
"Thanks so, so much!"
I yell behind me, heading for the cafe.
There's 15 minutes left still, but I can find somewhere to kill time.
I confidently walk to the cafe, humming and not paying any attention.
I accidentally bump into someone and almost launch everything in the basket across the entire mall.
"Are you okay??"
"I'm so sorry, I wasn't paying attent-"
"Dude, are YOU okay??"
Chang'e giggles, offering a hand.
I take her hand then start dusting myself off once I'm actually standing.
"Thank you, by the way."
I sigh, then chuckle a bit.
We look at each other for a bit, unsure what to say.
"Soo..."
She starts.
