[Request] Armin x Reader: I'm Sorry.

I was flying through the air when I saw them. Armin was kneeling on top of a building, with him arm held out to a titan. In the titan's open mouth I could see an arm sticking out, reaching out to Armin's outstretched arm, but I didn't know whose it was. I began flying over to it, but it was too late. The titan chomped down, chopping the arm off, and it tilted its head back and swallowed. Armin yelled out Eren's name, and my eyes widened.

I quickly sliced off a chunk on the nape of the titan's neck, and it dropped to the ground. I flew right over to Armin, and I could see the tears running down his face, and he looked like he was about to faint.

With tears in my own eyes, I landed next to him and hugged him tightly. He hugged me back, and we both cried. Eren was my friend as well, and Armin, Eren, Mikasa and I were friends as children, and it hurt so much to know that Eren was just eaten by a titan, and that I couldn't save him when I had the chance.

But Armin was his very best friend, and I couldn't even imagine how hard it must be for him to go through this.

I held him against me tightly, letting him cry into my shoulder. I pet his hair softly, as I had began to calm down, and my crying had stopped. But he wasn't finished, he was still devastated. So I was there to comfort him, to calm him down.

After a while he passed out, probably from crying so much. I rocked back and forth, still holding him. I kissed his forehead softly, then rested my chin on top of his head and whispered to him softly, fully knowing that he was asleep.

"I couldn't make it in time.... I'm sorry, Armin."
