A week later-
y/n's pov:
Fiddling with my thumbs, my heart beats fast. This morning, I woke up with no warm body next to me, and I felt a little down casted. That was until I saw the envelope laying next to me. Opening it up, I realized it was from Miguel. Gosh, he's so romantic. After reading his beginning message, I then read the words: "Meet me at Blah Blah Red Rose Garden at 7:30 pm tonight. Dress up. I'm excited to see you amor. ❤️" He wants to meet me at Blah Blah Red Rose Garden?! I've seen photos from that place before, but I've never actually gone. One thing for sure I know is that a lot of couples get.. married there. And Miguel told me to get dressed up.. Nah. It's just going to be a cute date.

7:30 pm at the red rose garden:
Walking around the garden, I could feel a pair of eyes on me. Turning around, I see a tall man in the distance. He meets me a halfway in the gazebo. Once I get closer to him, I smile, knowing it's Miguel. The lights surrounding us illuminated his face in the evening's darkness. "You look breathtaking," he whispers huskily in my ear, and I blush. "You look extremely handsome," I purr, straightening his tie on his suit. He always looked handsome in a suit. It was funny, considering the fact that he was wearing a red suit, and I was wearing a red dress. "I have something important to say my dear," Miguel's smile fades, and he gulps. He then gets down on one knee, and I immediately assume he's going to tie his shoe..
Then he pulls something out of his pocket..
And I could feel my breathing getting faster..
My eyes widening..
Is this actually happening?
"Y/n, mi amor.. you know I love you times I infinity right? And.. and I've been thinking about this lately. Y/n..," he looks up at me, vulnerable as ever. I see the moon reflecting in his gorgeous orbs. He then continues his speech, "Y/n, will you marry me?" I jump onto his and squeal in his ear, "Yes! Yes! Oh god, 100 times yes!" I just. got. ENGAGED! To the man of my dreams! Wow.. oh wow!
